Congratulations to Associate Director of Admissions and Diversity Programs, Jenna L. Jackson, who recently completed the LEAD Athens program as a member of the 2017-18 class. LEAD Athens is a program of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce designed to develop effective leaders committed to building a vibrant Athens community. The intense, year-long program explores a myriad of topics including economic development, local industry, health care, government, secondary and higher education, the arts and more. Program graduation, co-sponsored by OnlineAthens, was held at Ciné Athens on Thursday, April 12th. Jackson is also a School of Law alumna (JD'14). Congratulations to School of Law alumnus Justice Harold D. Melton (JD’91) on his unanimous election by the Supreme Court of Georgia to succeed Chief Justice Hines on his retirement! Congratulations, as well, to Justice David Nahmias, unanimously elected to the position of Presiding Justice that will be vacated by Justice Melton.
