Here is an update on our precious little buddy Brilliant! It’s now about 3 months post surgery. He is walking, dancing, and running! There are not enough words to express the greatness of our God! Jehovah Rapha - our healer has changed Brilliant’s life in so many ways and He let’s us His children be a part of His work. In this case the work was done by a class of elementary children taught by Teacher Katie who raised money for the surgeries in order to make this miracle happen! And his dad said, “I never thought I’d see my Brilliant doing these things!” Glory to God! ❤️

Here is an update our sweet buddy Philbert post medical procedures. He is now wearing soft casts and using crutches and a posterior walker when needed to help him with muscle development. He is not able to bear his own weight yet because the muscles are too weak having not ever been used. He has never walked before, so he and his family are hopeful, and now see a light at the end of the tunnel! They are so thankful for those who have partnered with UKP to make this possible - especially Katie and her awesome class at King’s School! Please pray for his muscles to develop and that he gains enough strength to walk on his own! ❤️

This young man is a amazing testimony of God’s amazing grace. Five years ago he used to be involved in all sorts of bad activities and would stand outside our window at the orphanage and beg for bread. We had a burden on our heart to help him and God provided a sponsor for Moses. Many people spent long hours ministering to him and training him up. Tonight we celebrate the fruit in his life. Recently Moses took the PLE (primary school leavers exam) and scored a first grade with 12 aggregates. That opens the door for him to attend any high school in Uganda. But that is not the end. He is a completely transformed person that I am proud to call my son. The LORD has done such an amazing work and I write this post with tears! With God all things are possible!!!

Agents for Christ

Agents For Christ is so blessed to have Bob and Anna Totten, as well as Emily Peterson headed to Uganda to serve at UKP! Please keep them in your prayers for a safe journey and Spirit led ministry!

This week has already proven to be a huge encouragement and blessing for our UKP Academy teachers as we have a team from Uganda and Australia representing the ministry of New Hope International. They are here doing a week long training on Effective Teaching and Learning. A course that emphasizes teaching with a Biblical worldview, a Christ centered approach and much more! So thankful for Sue, Juliet, and Timothy!
