After 2 other visits with 2 different vets, Dr. Yu was the only one to find and diagnose my dear cat’s cancer. He was honest about the chances of treatment being successful so instead of painful,, surgery and tummy staples, she spent her last few weeks at home doing whatever she wanted. Forever grateful to Dr. Yu. See More

The doctors and staff at U-Vet are outstanding. Their love for animals is apparent in every interaction with both the pet and the owner. I always feel like a third wheel, because they're so focused on... my cat or dog, to the extent that they ask the PET questions! I'm always surprised that the animal doesn't answer them. Any vet that has an office cat (or 2) that lives on site and is as spoiled as their cat is, is definitely sending a great message about their commitment to pets. See More

Always kind and compassionate vet care. Dr. Jimmy and his staff get a 5 star rating from this furbaby mom. I will never forget the gentle and kind concern that the Dr. and staff provided when it was ...time for our rat terrier Pepper, and our Doby, Zoe to cross over the Rainbow Bridge See More

My 17 1/2 year old baby recently became ill. Dr. Jackie was outstanding in her care. Although I lost my little girl, I can honestly say Dr. Jackie and Dr. Yu care about the animals. Dr. Yu cared for a few years ago when she had a dental issue.

The staff is friendly and helpful as well. When I called they promptly got the doctor or had them call me back quickly. Dr. Jackie called several times to check on the status of my baby without a call from me. I'm glad my friend referred me to U-Vet a few years ago. It was a good choice of doctors for my fur baby.

Thank you employees of U-Vet...for everything.

My 2yr old cat died 2 days after Christmas because of congestive heart failure (yes I know that since she was that young it had to have been heriditary). But months before she passed, Dr. Yu said seve...ral times he was going to do an x-ray of her chest because it sounded like she had a heart murmur. He never did. The day she died she was gasping for air and after a trip to Banfield animal hospital AND the emergency animal clinic on heidelbach and over $800 later she passed. I tried to take her to U-Vet to see her vet but they were closed but at that point nothing could have saved her. I'm just so disappointed that Dr. Yu never did x-rays like he said he would and we could have caught the congestive heart failure sooner. Yes I know that she still could have passed anytime but she could still be here now if it was caught sooner too. I'll never go to U-Vet again!! See More

Having been involved in showing and rescue for nearly 40 years, I've been to many different vets. I cannot give Dr. Jackie enough stars! She's wonderful!!! Recently, our rescue pitbull was very sick.... Dr. Jackie called every day to see how Bella was doing. When Bella fully recovered, Dr. Jackie called to say she was there for us and to contact her at any time. You don't see that these days. See More

Dr. Yu has been seeing both of my dogs for over a year now, he is so kind, and takes his time to make sure you understand what is going on with your pet. He also makes sure that if there is ever an is...sue he gets you in right away, and gets it taken care of. He has gone above and beyond for both of my dogs, especially with dealing with a dog that has diabetes. He takes time to answer every question, and to help anyway he can. Absolutely the best vet! Would recommend him to anyone. See More

I love the Dr. He is very thorough and explains everything he does, not just to us but the animals too. The prices are not as inflated as other vets I've taken my animals to.

I love Dr. Yew he is the most caring
vet I have had. We currently have
a small poodle who has both congestive heart failure and renal...
failure and he works very hard
to make sure her quality of life
is maintained, always having
a new thought on what we can
do next to help her, but maintain
her quality of life, so I will know
when her time to go to the Rainbow
Bridge comes I will have done all
I could. We could not be happier
with Dr. Yew and I believe you
would be too.

Called and asked to make a appointment and they said if I can be there by 4 the next day they would see my cat. So I took off work early the next day and showed up at 3:30. And they said I was not in... the system and never had an appointment . Took my dog patsy there for yrs . So can I not be in the system. Which is both a lie. So I would never go back here. I told them I been there before so I wasn't a new client See More

Nice article to prevent CAT-astrophe during Christmas season...

Cat owners should take some precautions with their tree if they want to have a meowy Christmas.

This morning while conducting a visit with one of our feline clients Dr. Yu removed an abnormally large mass of ear wax blocking the clients ear! It was solid like a rock and larger then our q-tip end. This reminder is to always help keep your pets in good health and bring them in for their visits with our doctors!

We are looking for a forever home for this little guy. His name is Archie and he is POSITIVE for FELINE LEUKEMIA! So if you are interested this is what you need to know. Feline leukemia is contagious to other cats through saliva aka biting. You can have him and not worry if 1) he will be the only cat in your home or 2) all your cats are up to date with the feline leukemia vaccination or 3) you have cats that ALREADY HAVE the virus. Please contact us if interested.
