Another sound trick I use a lot.Using a wondrous guitar pedal effect called the Space Station with my tibetan bowls in order to emulate a really great synth sound.The Space Station is no more available like many effect of the 90's that were magic though the sound wasn't as clean as nowadays effect. My secret weapons (n°2) : the average pedal board for my tibetan bowls and my bansuri ( the longest,lowest bamboo flute I ever found) : Boss PS 5 (I missed very much the PS 3 which was fabulous but not clean enough) / Digitech Space Station... which no longer exist :it's really the backbone of my sound / Boss Digital Delay :on which I mainly use the reverse function . All this goes to my reverb unit an old 1989 Yamaha semi rack unit , the FX 500 , which built the sound of Slowdive.
