The Martian Investigations by Robin David!
The Martian Investigations: Death on the Rust Planet is a narrative-deduction game -... a kind of choose your own adventure game for adults, in which players are given total freedom about how they wish to approach the given story. Your experience of this game will be unique to you, reflecting your investigative style, but you had better have your wits about you if you want to get to the bottom of this case.
I did a game jam today with some lovely people from the local game design scene. Thanks for being a third of a fantastic team and posting up the photos, The Crafty Players!
Here's a sneak-peak of the horror RPG I've been working on lately! The year is 2002 and a supernatural entity has taken over an American high-school. In a single, 3-hour session, the players will draw up their high-school characters and duke it out with the big bad! Do you want something scary to play for Halloween?
News about Movable Type: Second Edition is creeping out! We'll be on Kickstarter early next month! Support for up to 6 players, more cards, new packaging, more artwork - more wordy greatness!
Had an awesome time last night, down at the Celtic Cardboard playtest session! We were at a new venue - the cosy Library Bar in Central Hotel.
Some fantastic games hit the table at Playtest last night. Bern by Post involves a dragon terrorising postal officials! Movable Type: Second Edition got some re...fining. The main picture there is a satirical politics game, with players trading public support for various embezzlement schemes - so much fun! Thanks to all who came down!
My game, "Ada Lovelace: Consulting Mathematician," was picked as a finalist in the GenCan't Roll-and-Write contest! It's a solo game, so just print two sheets, grab a bunch of dice, and most of all, have fun!
