Our new fishing pier in Uvongo. It looks fantastic.
Update on the Uvongo Pier
Good afternoon everyone.
Margate Construction completed renovations to the Uvongo Pier yesterday, well within the estimated completio...n date of 15 December. On behalf of the community I would like to thank RNM for their commitment to this project and making it happen. Also congratulations and thank you to the contractor and his team for a job well done. The Pier looks fantastic and I'm sure all the fisherman will agree and use it to its full extent.
A big thank you must go to Pieter Bodenstein, the contractor, for constructing a fish cleaning table as a gift to the community. This was not in the initial scope of the project. We salute you.
The community is also invited to the official handover of the project.
Date - Wednesday 6 December
