How do we make a booking? The phone number rings out every time (and... has done for days) and the website doesn't open. This is the message that comes up, even though all other sites visited are working fine. We have a party of 10 and don't want to risk just walking in. Thanks. See More

I have dined at Vapiano Garden City a number of times and love it there. The new table service system is great, I can go there with my friends and don't have to... wait in line for my food to be ready anymore. It's great that all the food gets delivered straight to the table, I always make sure to order one of their fantastic new cocktails everytime I go. The lychee-berry mojito is amazing!! The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is always with a smile, and the food is always great. I am also a vegetarian and they have plenty of options for me with is a plus plus plus. Thanks for always making me welcome guys. Would highly recommend!!! See More

Had a great experience last Sunday Night, like they used to be when they first opened. After multiple occasions of having below average experiences on bland foo...d, long waits and poor service last few times. I think they have finally picked up their game again. The person taking the order seemed to be a floor supervisor or manager, she was very attentive and took our orders really well, including special requests. Food was cooked well, and delivered promptly. Bar staff upstairs were quite friendly and helpful also. :) hopefully they keep it up because their location is very nice and convenient. See More

It was my first time eating at Vapiano, i was there for a friends birthday and was so excited when i saw pasta!. The food was good and the service was lovely bu...t if im being honest there was a few things i think you should change.

1. The menu, half of us had no idea what was going on and had to pass it around to see if someone else knew what was going on.

2. I had hoped judging by the way the restaurant looked you would have real gourmet pasta but in reality it was really just normal pasta dishes with maybe 1 or 2 things different and considering some of the prices you charge are roughly the same as real italian pasta restaurants i expected different. Also there was so many vegetarian dishes and like 3 meat dishes?.

3. THE CHAIRS! we sat outside at tall tables and all of us had very sore bottoms by the end! The chairs were awfully hard and dug into you, may i suggest some cushions?

Sincerely wished I had read the reviews before deciding to eat here. From what I can see from the other terrible reviews Vapiano's does not offer anything besid...es the same word for word repeated reply but I HIGHLY recommend you steer clear of this place regardless of what they say. I work in the hospitality industry and the service was appalling! Not a single friendly person or smile in the place. We ordered a starter and two mains, but we had the pizza come out 20+ minutes before the starter and 2nd main, which came out together. My partner finished his while I was still waiting for mine. Had to wait a while for the staff to stop talking before anyone even came over to serve at the bar. No thanks, not even a greeting when we walked in. No one explained how it worked, just gave us the cards to order with and the menus. Was completely ignored & left alone by staff, we had to go ask for our own table water. Honestly at the prices they try to charge this kind of service is ridiculous! When we complained at the end we finally had a friendly member of staff who explained that she couldn't do anything but would ask her manager. The manager practically rolled her eyes at our complaint & discounted the pizza -$10. This was half price, the bill still ended up $80! Long story short, this place charges WAY too much for a ridiculous & inconvenient concept with some of the worst service I've ever had. We will never come back! See More

Food was great but we ordered drinks as soon as we sat down. 40mins later we got our drinks AFTER we got and FINISHED our food! We had to case the drinks 3 time...s before we got them. Everytime we chased them other people would be ordering drinks at the bar and would walk away with theirs and our order was half done sitting on the side getting warm.

Maybe they should look at the priorities...

Absolutely an awful experience.... bar waitress, ignored us completely... when asked the difference between two savignon blanc, she shrugged her shoulders. So I... asked to read both bottles. When ordering our food I asked for our mains to be brought out just before we finished our starter... to which it instantly came out after our starter!!! The restaurant wasn't busy, so wondered why they couldn't follow this simple procedure. A couple left opposite us, there was no one else in the restaurant and they never cleared their plates, whilst we where there, to which every bird, was pecking and flying by..... Every thing we asked was an issue and we felt like we had inconvenienced them!! My pasta was reheated and dry and tasteless. When we payed, we where asked if all was ok?, when we said no, it was awful, they responded with a "oh sorry"
That was all. �
I feel like some compensation should be issued... I am visiting Australia, and whilst here for the next month, I will not at any cost be visiting one of your unprofessional places and will be telling everyone I meet how disgusting the service, food and experience this visit was.... See More

Great food, great music, just one small gripe. The table we sat at was covered in dirty dishes and when someone came to take away our plates they didn't wipe the table down. Would definitely go again though.

I have usually had good experiences with Vapianos until the last two times I've gone. They put bacon in my pasta when I said I didn't want any nor did the pasta... base I chose include bacon. I was quite upset when they bought my dinner out to see there was bacon in there as I don't eat it for personal reasons, they weren't apologetic at all. I didn't make a big deal about it and just didn't eat at all. I went back last night hoping for a better experience, to find myself feeling extremely sick within 20 minutes of eating and throwing up my meal when I got home. Unfortunately I feel that the customer service and food experience isn't what it used to be. Never again will I come back to Vapianos. See More

The pastas and pizzas are very nice, traditional and true to their Italian roots. Handmade pizza from the dough to the ingredients coming locally to the actual ...pasta being made right in front of you.

This is hard to find in brisbane and very unique in its own right. The quality of food is always consistent and the menu caters to a wide variety of preferences. My sister and I love this place ♥ See More

I love the pasta but the wait is sooo long for everything. We were waiting to get served, then waiting to order our drinks, then waiting for our drinks to arriv...e and then waiting ages for our food. There is no sense of urgency or it's understaffed - to be honest I couldn't tell. Your staff are lovely and apologetic but I just wouldn't suggest anyone go there if they are hungry because they will just get angry while waiting. Your restaurant is terrible, I am just going to be honest. First off, we waited 35 minutes in a line, to then wait again to get a table. We then waited in anoth...er long line to actually place our order. A waiter approached us while in the line asking what we wanted to drink, so that it would be ready by the time we had ordered. After ordering, we went to the bar to pick up our drinks, only to be told they hadn't received any order, and had to make our drinks. So then I receive my pasta. It was cold, ridiculously under cooked, and tasted stale. It was basically like eating cardboard. There was no flavour to it whatsoever, but I didn't have time to ask for a new one, as we had wasted all our time waiting in lines and had somewhere else to be. I went to pay and was asked 'how was everything' and I was honest, I told the waitress it was awful and not worth the $20 I was being charged. Her reply was 'oh...sorry'.

The point I'm trying to make is the food being served is horrible, the restaurant is terribly run and chaotic, and the staff need to be retrained in handling complaints, as well as how to cook. The least you could do is offer a refund for the pasta. See More

Waited 20minutes in line just to order our food, then another 25minutes for our food. I ordered a risotto and added chicken and the chicken was completely dry a...nd tasted like rubber. As you had to pay to add chicken to the dish, when we went to pay I asked to have the added chicken to be taken away from the total. I then spoke to the manager which told me I should of said something and it would of been remade for me, which why would I when it already took so god damn long for the food to come. Went together as a family and some friends to Vapiano's. Few people had pasta...the pesto, prawns gambero and Chicken arrabiatta. Pizza was delicious also. It w...as an enjoyable evening, pasta is fresh n yummy and you watch the food being cooked which is an experience but waiting in the queue is a bit tedious. We waited 45 minutes for our turn. Order pizza you can wait at your table if you prefer not to stand in a queue. See More

Meh. Average food, lovely setting, staff generally friendly. The lady behind the bar clearly didn't like her job, but all other staff were nice enough. I wouldn't rave about it to friends. Just say it was 'nice' if asked.

Even though we waited 25mins for our meal it was very tasty as usual. If you require a highchair I wouldn't recommend going (unless you can use a pram) they do...n't have any straps and have very wide legs holes. My toddler kept sliding down one side,I ended up having to sit my my toddler on my lap and eat dinner that way - not fun when you are on a stool. See More

My husband and I ordered a pizza for lunch. 40 minutes later it hadn't arrived so we asked where it was. The girl went to ask, and then came back with a cold pizza and said "here it is". Terrible service!

Disappointed, the pasta was bland, it was just cream and chicken with Parmesan on top, I asked for medium spicy, all the chilli was just bunched up on one side of the plate and there was no spice at all through the rest of the pasta

Went Sunday 19th Feb, had a great night both food and drinks were great. It doesn't pretend to be a fine dinning restaurant but if you want good wholesome Italian it's worth a visit

I come to vapianos garden city often and am used to great service and food, but tonight I was seated outside with 8 others while we were told to wait to come in... and order due to high number of customers. Must have been a misunderstanding, because two different waiters took the front desk and let in everyone that walked in and sent them to order their food. My group and several others walked out, rather disappointed compared to the normal great experience. See More
