The chef did an amazing job on the food however we had to wait for an hour and a half for it today when the restaurant only had 3 other tables. There were two s...taff on shift and neither of them seemed to care At.All. I work in a restaurant and the service there was just appalling. We ended up getting up and clearing our own table when our mains came and got water for the table off the bar ourselves. Will not be back. For a food company that claims to have vision of creating a nourished world supported by eco-friendly practices and to care about deforestation, its extremely h...ypocritical of you to continue to use and promote plastic bags (even if they are "biodegradable") and polystyrene containers....

Your “eco friendly” practices fall flat when your bio bags (that can take 6-12 months to biodegrade) are found floating in the ocean and a turtle mistakes the bag for a jellyfish, or when your polystyrene take away containers continue to add to land fill because you fail to address the fact that polystyrene can only be recycled if received in larger industrial quantities...

What you claim on your website is beyond misleading.

Your company should be committed to providing only recyclable/ sustainable sourced wood/ bamboo/ paper containers.

Its important to your business that you actually achieve what you claim in your vision and take into consideration your impact on the environment. عرض المزيد

vege rama restaurant in west end offers a 100% vegetarian menu that is open for lunch and dinner. vege rama are dedicated to sourcing fresh and local biodynamic... produce that are chemical and spray free and also practice sustainable and eco-friendly business practices.

it took a little while to find the restaurant as it’s not exactly where it says it is on google maps. go around the corner towards browning street to find it. there’s seating inside and outside with the space being nice and open. looking at the menu it was hard to choose as they were so many options with many types of cuisines. each dish has coloured dots marking whether the dish is vegan, gluten free, nut free, vegan option, or onion and garlic free.

I decided to try the vegan ‘sweet potato gnocchi’ ($17.50) made with king brown mushrooms, sugar snap peas, cold press olive oil and chive cream. the gnocchi was nice and doughy and the chive cream tasted so good with it. the mushrooms were yum but I found the end of the stems a little hard and chewy. I had a side of ‘roast garlic vegetables’ ($7) which was a colourful plate of carrots, parsnips, beetroot, and zucchini. root veggies for the win.

they serve a range of smoothies, cold press juices, lassis, kombucha, nutrient shots, loose leaf teas and coffee. I had a vegan ‘mocha’ ($4) made with with cacao & coconut sugar that went down a real treat. if you’re feeling fancy they have a range of cocktails made with their house made cold pressed juices and also serve a range of beer and wine. inside they also serve a range of pre-made meals to takeaway and some fine looking desserts.

I’d definitely come back again as there is too much on the menu I want to try. other locations they have include queen street and adelaide street in the city عرض المزيد

Due to an honest mistake we had to wait a long time for our food - the staff were kind enough to offer to pay for our meals to compensate for the inconvenience ...(we declined and took 20% off instead, our preference). I misunderstood initially and thought it was store policy to make staff pay for mistakes - the below comments relate to that original misunderstanding and my subsequent review, which I have edited.

I used to love the Myer centre store but sadly quality has seriously dropped in the last few months. I used to come once or twice per week for lunch but the las...t few times, the food has been bland, the pakoras cold and the options pretty limited. Even without navdeep , vicky and ravi , Vegerama is still the best restaurant in entire universe....

Moral : Nobody is invincible . ...

( By the way salaries are still very high in vegerama. Manager of vegerama never compromises on discipline and performance but when it comes to salaries all his discipline and fairness dissapears in air. Manager and management believes in fairness and diversity of cultures , thats why the front staff is hired from all around the world including senegal , africa , china , uganda , korea and even pluto. Manager and staff of vegerama are very quick to declare anybody racist without any reason. They are strongly against racism , example is the front staff hired from different parts of world regardless of skin colour.All these three guys were paid handsomely . Haven't been to a vegetarian restaurant in a long time and we were very impressed, had the burger and sweet potato chips with aioli. Other items on the menu looked interesting so will be back again to try something else

The dhosas, malai kofta, paneer matar, and yoghurt curry are sublime. Criticisms?

The Myer Centre outlet needs a better queuing system....

The small takeaway salad size is half that of the eat-in size and very overpriced.

Too frequently do you have pumpkin curry (pumpkin makes me sick), Thai green (please chop your vegies smaller!) and mushroom stroganoff (dull) - more variety please!

And gluten-free...you need to learn how to make pakoras and samosas with chickpea flour, as currently there are no takeaway items apart from curry that are GF. عرض المزيد

Any restaurant that denys assistance/guide dogs isn't worth visiting. Airlines, Taxis, hospitals, every shop and every other restaurant allows it but somehow you don't. Just like now you don't have my business

Always a great experience at this place! Love the raw dishes and variety of yummy desserts - we had the Tiramisu cup this time - Amazing! Also appreciate that there is a good choice of dishes and desserts NOT containing soy milk as bf is allergic! Thank you! :-)

Your food and service has always been very good in the past. I brought three non vegan friends in for dinner on Saturday night "to try some nice vegan food" and... I was really disappointed and embarrassed at the super slow and unfriendly service. The other female at my table was really grossed out at the state of the toilets. I have been to your restaurant many times before, and I've tried everything on the menu at least 2-3 times now. How about some new options on the menu? The wait times for our main meals was ridiculous and once we ate the food it was below average! The Mi goreng was way too chilli to even swallow (We are quite a...ccustomed to chilli) and the grilled tofu steaks were very difficult to stomach. One of the best plant based restaurants in Brisbane to eat! You can never go wrong with their smoothies (packed with super foods!) and my all time summer fav - ...raw pad thai. My fiance is not a vegetarian and that's now become his fav dish!

What I love about this place is that no matter what your dietary requirements are, Vege Rama will have an option for you. Onion & garlic free, vegan, nut free & gluten free! You name it! :)

I have yet to try their vegan pizzas as I've heard great things about them! Next stop - a vegan Roast Artichoke pizza I think! With these winter chills, a warm masala chai with house made cashew milk will always be my hit (their turmeric latte is not bad either ;)). عرض المزيد
