A great deal of work was put forth to create the new boardwalk at Ely's Peak in Duluth, MN this past weekend. Here's a short video capturing some of the work in... progress. Thanks to the Duluth Climbers Coalition for organizing this event and to Jeep Clif Bar REI Mountain Hardwear and Therm-a-Rest for supporting efforts like this.

Larch Mountain Bouldering (WA)
Larch Boulders is composed of granodiorite boulders, and has some quality boulders. They can be a bit rough on the fingers after an afternoon of sending though. Larch of composed of 3 main areas, with many lines cleaned, and many more to be cleaned.

Today is the first anniversary since the very unfortunate day on Mount Rainier. Many lives changed forever because of a very natural incident that happens every...day on mountains. My brother and 5 other brave men chased their dreams and truly lived amazing lives. I have learned alot in one year from these extraordinary individuals and through all the people I have met through the MCA that I am happy now to call friends. The climbing community has embraced my family and brought clarity to a tough situation. Today I celebrate my brother and all the Rainier 6, the MCA and mountain climbing community, and my family.

On July 25th, 2015 we will have our first annual Mark Mahaney Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament. More information will be coming shortly and we hope to see you there!
