IDOT's contractor will be paving Lockport Street, between Wallin Drive and the DuPage River bridge, on Friday; expect traffic delays and use alternate routes if possible.

September is National Hunger Action Month and Plainfield is getting involved by hosting a food drive, in cooperation with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Village, C.W. Avery Family Y.M.C.A., Plainfield Park District, Plainfield Public Library, Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and Plainfield School District 202 will be accepting food drive donations through September 22. Village of Plainfield E-News Updates - 8/18/17

The State’s Contractor, D Construction, will begin asphalt paving work on IL Route 126/Lockport Street (DuPage River Bridge to Wallin Drive) beginning Wednesday, August 16. Please be aware of fresh oil in this area. Motorists should expect construction delays and avoid the area if possible.

The State’s Contractor, D Construction, has begun grinding work on Lockport Street between Wallin Drive and the railroad tracks. Motorists should expect construction delays and avoid the area if possible. Paving work will begin next week and delays are anticipated.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, tonight's Neverly Brothers concert has been moved inside the Village Hall. The concert begins at 7 pm!

Rain or shine, The Neverly Brothers are playing in Plainfield tonight! The concert starts at 7 pm. Weather permitting, they will play in Settlers' Park. If it rains, the concert will be moved into the Village Hall. For more info, visit www.plainfield-il.org.
