I'll be singing solo tomorrow night on the Heartlands Hayride and also sitting in with the band on fiddle. The show is 6:00-8:00 on WDVR - you can listen on line or go to the Virginia Napurano Center, 522 Rosemont-Ringoes Rd. (route 604), Sergeantsville, NJ. I'm doing two songs at 6:13, and 3 songs at 7:35.
We're on the Heartlands Hayride tonight at 6:27 and 7:08. We'll be using the house band "The Kilcoyle Kowboys Band". Listen in here: https://www.pennjerseyradio.org/heartlands-hayride/
Tomorrow night, Saturday the 22nd, listen in to the Heartlands Hayride where I'll be singing two songs at 6:20 and three songs at 7:13. Vintage Country performs on the Hayride show every year (we'll be there September 9) but this is the first time I've performed on the radio as a solo singer - I have to admit I'm a little nervous! I'm also sitting in with the Hayride band on fiddle and banjo for the other acts.
Vintage Country is "Raising (money for) The Roof!" Come out to the Historic Langhorne Library on Maple Avenue in Langhorne Borough to hear REAL country music - Hank WIlliams, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Ray Price... and the classic duets like those of Dolly Parton/Porter Wagoner, George/Tammy, The Kendalls, Conway/Loretta... you get the picture! All proceeds go to help pay for a new roof of this beautiful and historically important building - an important part of our community! Seating is limited. Purchase a ticket for $10 at Judy's Corner 127 S. Bellevue or mail a check payable to Historic Langhorne Association, 160 Maple Avenue, Langhorne PA 19047 and tickets will be at the door, or just show up and find a seat! This Saturday at 7:00!
I love the new and improved setup for "Vintage Country!" (Leticia and me). The small box on the floor is the wireless Behringer X-Air 12 controlled by the table...t attached to the mic stand. The backup band music (me) is on a thumb drive in the mixer, also controlled from the tablet. The speaker is the Turbosound IP2000. Way less equipment, cables, and weight and everything can fit in the back seat of the car!
More sad stuff happening on the streets of Baltimore!
