Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I have to update that video because I feel like I'm fighting more than just Josh. I feel like I'm fighting a fighting a lot of a lot of the people out there who are trying like Governor Murphy, let's be honest, and other people who wanna trash our system and the government that we love in the Constitution that we love I wanna start off by talking to you about today. What I did today I was in Belmar and yesterday I was in Hillsborough at the two. That have opened up and since then there's been a couple of places a church that has that has been trying to get going. I think one of the things that we're missing in this conversation is because a lot of a lot of the things that I saw was people very upset with with the police. There's a lot of anger towards the police when they're following the the dictates of of Murphy and let's let's be honest. That's what are. They're dictates. They're not written in law he. Can you say that he has the executive authority to do that? but that's still not the same of having popular support in other words to uphold doesn't give you popular support What gives you popular support and not to get too detailed. It's very simply the people give you popular support in other words elect Legislature gives you support the things that he's doing should have passed muster by that, but not that I think that the people in the Legislature would be standing by us. so what did I do for the last two days? I think that's that's. And that we need to to start talking about of course we have the New Jersey's been locked down and a bunch of good strong business owners are stepping up to fight back and the police have been giving summons in summons and they've been giving they've been resting. There's been a few arrests. a couple of arrest. I think maybe just one, maybe just one why is that wrong? Why you know we're giving we're giving the cops a hard time, but in actuality the people we. To give a hard time to his governor, Murphy see he's weaponized. He's weaponized the police. There's something you gotta keep in mind. I mentioned this in my live feed when I was down in Delmar today, one of the things that we don't realize is that the Democrats, especially the you know the the whole big group of the leadership of the Northeast. We got Wolff and PA. We got de Blasio or as marken cause him to come and In New York City, we got Cuomo and we got Murphy and we you know there's also you know Gretchen Whitmore in Michigan. There's a few other Democrats primarily Democrats who are doing this in comparison to you know, say something like Florida. you know what's going on here so these people in in in this Democrat-controlled States, they recognize that the police are very strong for the most part, Not everyone a very strong with the. Not as much as conservative and the thing to recognize about the state of New Jersey is there are a lot more conservatives than there are that we recognize. I mean a lot of people are you know Center right and that gets them on a conservative conservative side. Despite what you see in the election, I think the election and not to get into the minutia not cuz it's just really gonna stick with the the police issue. the problem here is you know we recognize we think that the state is the state's not blue States very purple and probably closer to. When you get right down to it, that's not a that's not a fantasy. That's the truth because most of the people like I said, are right, they just don't have a good Center right candidate what they do is they get a sent a letter left candidate on both sides when they run and so no one really wants to vote, go out and put their effort into a Center left Republican because they're rhinos. So what do I mean about what the cops when so it all ties together cuz Murphy looks at this and says how do I separate the cops from the conservatives? How do I get? You know when you when you get right down to it, the cops and the Conservatives are very close and the way to do that is like so let's like Rahm, Emanuel said. Never let a crisis go to waste. They're using this crisis to drive a wedge between the cops and the Conservatives essence weaponize the cops and that's right. I say that he's weaponized them because he's using them to he's using his position to directly or. Them to do things that are unconstitutional and listen, you can say that the cops should you know they don't have the right to sit there and say I'm just following orders. I understand that argument, but what we also as conservatives and we all we all feel this. we all feel as as conservatives as you know, the cops are people too. They have families and we you know we wanna protect our families. Listen, I protect my daughter. I'll do anything I could to protect her and you know even with that. I didn't succeed as much as I wanted to and when we when we understand and I did the same with my son and I was more successful in protecting my son. But when we look at our children, we're you know these cops are people too and the hideous part about the part that we should really be pissed off about. I mean really fighting that is this guy who's governor and all the other ones are using their position to drive that wedge between them and us and they're really cuz it's the. Cops don't wanna do that they don't wanna sit here. Listen. I how do I know well? Let me tell you I got my brother. who's you know a cop. I got two brothers who are cops many of the people that I know in my area that are cops are you know from my town? I went to school with them. I even have a student, a former student of mine. that was that's a police officer. These are not you know a handful of them are they're not bad people. What we see from this is. Is that we're seeing this guy used them in actuality, We should be ticked off at Murphy. We should be ticked off with the mayor's. They're allowing this to continue because here's the thing you wanna stop the cops from doing it. You get the mayor's to say you get the freeholders to say and you get to shares to say no more stop. We end this because listen and I'm the a lot of a lot of politicians and I'm not one but a lot of. Sit there and just give you oh you gotta do this and then it just make you figure it out. I got a solution for you in this. I'm not just gonna throw the idea and say we gotta blame Blaine Murphy and blame the the the mayors and the and the freehold. Here's a here's a solution. Let's start with common sense decisions the same ones that are being used right now in the ShopRite and in the in the the the Home Depot the Lowe's all those let's let's talk about them and let's talk about what Ian and and Kyle doing down at the in their gyms. First off, let's make sure people were a mess. I mean bottom line. Every town that wants to open up, let's say everyone who goes into a store needs to have a mask on that seems common sense. I mean whether you agree with the mask or not this is a way to do it safely. This is a way to hedge on the side of safety cuz that's what you know Murphys in the ringing his hands saying you know we wanna protect lives. Meanwhile, he has no problem sending Cot positive patients back into into these centers where the the elderly are dying off in his hands. I mean he he wants to save lives and I hear him. He's so he sounds so and I don't want to attack him. For for his personality, but he sounds so fake when he sits there. and he says this, you know this your blessings and it's it feels so fake because I know the truth, you know the truth of what he did with those senior citizens when he would send those cavett positive patients back into those centers, It was death sentence for many of those people have over almost half of the population of people who died in the sinners and so we should be angry with me. Getting back to my point, we should also be calling you know we have to wear. We then have we then have people get the when they check out what how many people can have be in that building And maybe maybe the health Department says cut it down to half cut it down to a quarter. I'm not the person to make that decision, but that's one of the that's one of the steps you can make and here's another one. Maybe you check people's temperature before they walk in. That's what that's what's going on in these gems, they're checking people's temperatures. I'm not doing it at the Walmart. They're not doing that at the lows of the Home Depot, but it makes sense to do that because then don't let people in who have fevers and. Common sense yet Murphy and I mean he goes on and he goes on and says stuff about like how this is wrong. He threatens a.m. You know for what happened on Monday, He threatened some stuff if you had said the same thing if you said, oh, tomorrow, tomorrow's gonna be a different story. Something's gonna happen tomorrow if you had said that when you called some place like any store, they would arrest you for terrorist threats. But when he does it, Oh, it's all that matter. Safety Let me tell you tyrants run and say I'm only doing this for the safety of others. That's what tyre do and and you know he did get on us about you know not wanting to use the word fascist and such but let me tell you something whether you you clearly have no idea what the what that term means because you're just you're not defending it. You're not defending yourself the right way. A fascist is really somebody who's the dictator running things and and all about them. Yet you're so self centered that you do this briefing every day and you talk about all the all the things that you've done. I'm a you know it's disgusting when I hear you feel so upset like we're children and you're the adult in the room when in actuality, you're locking us down. That's not that's not helpful. Look at for example and and listen. I'm a guy who believes in proof go look at Florida. Florida more people less victims of and like I said it's a larger state, and it's a lot more people going outside a lot more, you know people wandering around and the problem that the thing that makes you most about the thing that you will not use that as an example to set your guide by the fact is run by DeSantis, a Republican because ultimately, no matter what you say no matter what Cuomo says Blathering on about how this is a bipartisan effort. It's not it's not about. At least not from your part, I don't care what you say about the President about being helpful. That's true. he's being more helpful to this country than all of you guys put together to your States and I'll stick by that. Here's what I have I have this one. Don't buy into that malarkey and be thankful that dozens of supporters gathered outside of his Delmar gym or in the minority. frankly is getting far too much attention. He isn't just putting his. At risk by defying a state order, it's not state or it's Murphy order. It's a big difference to keep non-essential businesses close. He's sending an awful message that personal needs his business and therefore your business are above the greater good. my father, God rest his soul would have used the following phrase in a much less kinder way. That's Bevin manure This guy who's name. I'm glad I don't know his name. It's really not worth knowing he completely ignores some simple facts. first the idea of what he is saying about not being a hero and his partner who's name. I can't remember so I apologize his partner in the business. I just don't remember you know I apologize. This is this is garbage that he's saying this because these guys are real fighters for our rights. They're not doing it because they expect money. They're losing money. They get a thousand dollar fine a day. They're not making a thousand dollars a day if they were making a thousand dollars did I would everybody would be in the gym business? but the the fact is this is you know? this is the idea and I have another. But I'll I'll shorten it by saying this Murphy's most likely he is directing the cops of Belmar to go. After these guys today, I was down there. they had a pull up their videoing who's leaving as I was leaving. I saw some one -A van pulled over with two cop cars guy had a Trump sign a flag on his back. Yeah. I mean the message is clear from Governor Murphy. If cross him, you are going to be slammed. If you do or say anything against him, you're butt his grass, he's going after you he's targeting you and that ladies and gentlemen, if that's not a tyranny if that's not some form of fascism. What is because I gotta tell you governor you're wrong. We can open our state in a much better way quicker, and it means that will allow people to get back to work. I don't understand. You're 10 billion dollars, you're saying that we need in order to cover our budget and I mean I got a whole another story to tell you about when it comes to the you know what we did to our what you did to our budget. What your fellow Democrats did to our budget for the last several decades with the political elites have done to our budget for less. That's a whole another story. I gotta tell you though You're to blame for that you and your cronies or all the blame for us having that $1010 billion dollar debt that's gonna even grow. $10 billion dollar shortfall that's gonna grow bigger because you're not opening up our state. You see one of the things that you don't realize is there's no money tree and people are going to die from not getting food and I wanna talk about that As to several things that I've been trying to do to help out. yeah, I've been I've been going. I went to these rallies but and I'm very. I'm very glad that I did and I wanna thank for suggestion and I do that he's right, you know one of the things that I noticed when I was there is here I am I'm I'm you know a school teacher. I'm a I'm a guy who's who's really a political entity in myself like I draw people to me by who I am and by what I'm doing where I don't have a lot of money. I'm not looking for people's money politicians these people who are looking you-know-who who we promised. they promised us that they're gonna fight for us. Defend us and protect us that we give them thousands of dollars so that they'll be in our corner when things go wrong and where were they when I was down there. Where were they where were the people that are running for Congress? We're I mean I was in Bellmore. I mean the Cape May is further for me to go for me to be out of my district, But let's be honest, I I promised when I first ran when I first started this run that I wasn't gonna let myself stay in my district and. That would be it I'm running for the state of New Jersey. We're all running. That's what we have to do one of the reasons why we lost our state to these to these people who just wanna control us is because we didn't fight beyond our border. We had to go beyond our town and a lot of people did, but we all need to do it Where are our fighters in our party and I'm sure they're out there. I'm sure they're doing something and let me let me just not say. It's a blanket where the heck are you, but a lot of people are Aol, a lot of people who are leadership of our party are able sure they sit behind the screen like I am right now by the way talking and you know blathering on about how bad it is or we're trying to be you know asking questions to get information and making themselves look good. Go down there with the I went down with my flag and they said, Don't turn on me. It's the Naval Anson. I went down there with my brother met me and that was it and then I talked to the people. I listen to what they had to say they're fired up. They're ticked off of what's going on it would be in the best interest of all these people if they went to these rallies. Listen, I'm I'm 50 years old this year. got a couple of Co Co Co morbidity. As they say, but I still went put the mask on you clean your hands. You're careful with what you do and the reality is you just gotta be safe, but that doesn't mean you can't stand out there and hold the flag and say something so listen The reality is from my understanding. I just read this article that my my sister shared with me about how how was going on in Belmar is something that's being directed by Murphy himself and that many of the cops I even understand some of the cops who are in Belmar out at this gym, We're used to before this and so that they're actually very friendly so they help. They're very good and like I said many cops are conservatives in nature. At least you know. I'm not saying you're you know very conservative, but they're on the Center right like most of New Jersey and this is Governor Murphy's Way to break that if we allow it, He's weaponize the cops against us and if we so what's the solution to that, I mean it's a great question. I don't know if anybody has it, but it's a great question Bye. Here's how we're polite to them you see as conservatives, which is generally polite. That's why when you go to these rallies, you see stuff picked up. You know we have a big rally in Virginia. there's a big rally in Virginia. A lot of people went armed, no problems. not one ounce of issue place was clean when they all left. That's you know. that's the kind of what we do. you get arrested. You get arrested. you follow you comply. They're doing it. But what we need to do is we need to pressure our mayors. We need to pressure our freeholders and say no to Murphy. start opening up your you're the guys and gals in charge of that area. Murphy's the he's the governor, but where and when he challenges you stand up to him because the only way we're gonna win is by standing up to him. but the people who are protesting and only sends one message but when town start. Sending the message and start sending the message guess what then he's forced to listen because he can't send he can't send that message out. He can't. He can't weaponize all the police because the town mayors in charge of the police the towns in charge of that police. He we this is why we need to open up our tents like I said common sense opening them up. So I think. You know one of the things that you know, I'll say this about my race when I'm running is I'm a little tired of people looking at my race and saying, hey Jim you know what are you doing? I'll tell you what I'm doing cuz I think that's important. I know what other people aren't doing and this is what they're not doing. I've reached out to families. I've I've I've given my time to bring stuff you know my family has done that to help out other families who don't have food if you're struggling if you're sick. Now, you know you can private message me. I'm not going around telling people who are donating to I'm not taking pictures and then posting it. I'm not doing it for a photo op like that, you know, I'm doing it because it's the right thing to do right and then the other thing I you know. I'm starting this. I've been thinking about how to do this and a lot of families are disconnected. They're not connected with each other. They're struggling to communicate with each other because you know they're so far away. So I have a zoom account as part of my campaign. it's a paid for accounts. so it's a certain number you know, I can do a bunch of stuff with it that you can't do it with the free one. I'm willing to offer that to families out there that are distant from each other and you can't go see I'll help you set that up. I'll let you have the you know I'll I'll set you up as a temporary host and you can you know then communicate cuz you know families are key and this time of struggle. Matter What happens our family's gonna stay together because that's all I mean that's really the the base of our of our of our people of our country. You know the family unit is important. It's always been and so I wanna reach out to those people. Those of you here spread the word if you need some way to communicate with somebody the phone is not good enough. I know we got a lot of technology. you know a lot of people can video, but you know it's a lot easier to send somebody an email with a Zoom link, especially if they're not really strong and those of you who. The video my live video with my brother, I love him dearly man. He is is not tech savvy. I think that's being kind so I know there's a lot of people out there who aren't tech savvy and so they expect them to be able to maneuver live video or something like that. It's easier. If you just click it right and then you go right into the to the meeting or to the to the family gathering and it would be private. I wouldn't be involved in it. I'll let you guys do it and I think that's. I think that would be really nice for a lot of families so the idea is we need to. I wanna get back to my main topic, which is the which is the open New Jersey, which I promised that would be it for tonight. we got to open up our state. We gotta fight back and unfortunately I feel like a lot of the fighting is being done by a group of by the same people and there's a lot dedicated Warriors out there that I've seen and I see them go. To these events every single day they rotate between them because they're fighters, but you know getting more people out. there is good, but we need the people who are representing to stand up for us and maybe they just haven't maybe they just need somebody to kick him in the butt. So consider this my 13 inch foot kicking you in the butt because we need to do it. I am I am an ordinary guy. I'm an average guy, but I'm a guy who's willing to speak for you and there's not a lot of people. Who are willing to do that? I'm gonna do it? Honestly, what you see is what you see is what you get, you know. there's no. there's no hidden agenda here. I'm not in this for power. Some of the people that I'm running against are. in fact everyone I'm running against this in this for power, no matter what they say they want they want to gain power so they can sit on the sidelines and make deals with other people. That's what politicians do, and I think that's where some of them are they're trying to cut deals. not all of them. they know who they are. The ones who are fighting for us know who they are and the ones who are hiding. They also know who they are and we do too now. Don't we let's call them out. Call your don't just call Murphy's office call your mayor call your Freeholder go to their virtual meetings and you know get on there and ask them how come you haven't stood up for us and they'll give you blathering on about how they've done this and this, but that's not they haven't completed the goal. There's still business. That are closed, but we should all be open just like they are in Florida. They have restaurants down there in Florida open people coming into the restaurant sitting at tables. they solved the problem with social distance of you know, making sure that they can do it by having a table between people which makes sense and then you have your waiters or waitresses wearing mask so that they're not in. Gloves and you know you make sure that the business of what's going on is safe and protect your businesses because we need to so I can go on and I'm not gonna keep repeating what I what I said. I'll say this go after Murphy to stop Weaponizing our police. We got it. We can't let him feel complacent. I very firmly very clearly and hey. Want to talk to me? I'll gladly talk to him. I don't think he will because that would take courage and I think that's something that he lacks. He's not willing to stand up. He's willing to stand aside so that other people can make the decision unless it's about controlling things so. I wanna say thank you for your support. Those of you who've been following me. We're still gonna fight for you and when I when I screw up because it's human nature to scrub. don't be afraid to tell me see that's all I almost I almost left without saying that one of the things that I've noticed about Murphy as simple this when he's challenged a person who's really fighting for you listens. And says well, maybe there's something to this. listen. I do kids. I have my class they they can challenge me. They can ask me questions and they can you know try. I have no problem with that. Maybe they have a point. Maybe there's a point that they're trying to make that's right and maybe I'm wrong. The thing about politicians is they're never wrong. They're never making a mistake because when they make a mistake, then they're afraid that's gonna be used against them when as I tell my students. Very clearly, I tell people the only thing you ever truly gonna be able to own your mistakes. That's it. If you can't you know all your success is everyone's gonna take credit for everyone else's gonna try to steal credit for your successes but your failures. your mistakes are the only thing that you can truly call your own and they're also something you can learn from. but Murphy doesn't wanna learn from his mistake cuz it's a mistake. keeping us this close for this long. It's hurting our economy and he's expecting the federal government to bail us out, which is wrong in itself because he's. Who got us here and you know what the federal government doesn't have the money just to be on the side. Note we're 25 trillion dollars in debt, but that's only the hidden numbers. There's you know between all the money that they're not counting that we owe to Social Security and Medicaid and Medicare. We're a hundred and 25 trillion dollars in debt that wrap that around your head. We need another three trillion- dollar dump of money out of you know or added onto that like we need another hole in the head so. We're gonna take money and give it to the States. It's gotta be done responsibly. It's not being done responsibly the current bill by the way to talk about the congressional race. it's not being done responsible and it needs to be done more responsibly, but Josh Gottheimer, who's the guy I'm running against is to too much willing to to be you know help out his cronies. He's too Cros just like Murphy same kind of mentality of wanting to help out their buddies instead of helping out the people. that's the kind of fight we.
