I'm Ritchie Whorton, and I'm a conservative Republican that has deep roots in the red clay of our district. I'm running to represent District 22 because I know our district deserves better. As a small businessman in construction, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and get the job done. That's the same work ethic I'll take to Montgomery - and my only political boss in Montgomery...will be YOU. I need your vote on Tuesday, June 3 in the Republican Primary.

Dear Friends: We're about to hit the ground running to keep fighting for District 22. Over the past 4 years, it's been an honor to serve you and I'd be proud to have your support again on June 5 in the Republican Primary. I believe in Christian values, conservative leadership, and honored promises. We'll continue our work to protect our values, improve our economy, protect our schools, and move our state AND District 22 forward. If you'd like a yard sign, message us and let us know - and, above all else, thank you so much for standing with me and my family. Let's get to work.

Congratulations to the Maysville and Keel Mountain communities. The new weather sirens are up and working—just in time for the severe weather season and the storms expected this weekend. A special thanks to Commissioner Craig Hill and Senator Steve Livingston in the joint effort.

We enacted all of the items in our "Flag, Family, and Country" legislative agenda this session - and we're keeping our promises to the people of District 22 and the rest of Alabama.

Just met with Dr. G. There was a clot in one of McKenna's veins and it has been removed. He said she is very swollen, but ok. This is very unusual, but it happens. They are going to keep her in ICU over the weekend and that is music to my ears. Please thank God for this answered prayer. Thank you...to everyone that took a moment to lift her and the surgical team in prayer. God is good!

McKenna Whorton is back is surgery. We are once again asking for prayers both McKenna and the surgical team. One minute she was fine, the next--her chin was purple. Please pray that they are able to save the skin and the flap. God is ALWAYS good and and we trust that His plan is greater than we can see.
