I am absolutely thrilled to be elected as your next EPSB Trustee for Ward D. I am humbled by the support of so many people including my amazing campaign team. I am so proud of all of our hard work and for reaching almost every home in the Ward to talk about public education. Now the hard work begins of serving you, the families, parents, and voters of Edmonton.
I am honoured to have the support of so many families in Ward D - and their kids! Most of all, grateful to my supportive family and my daughter who wrote this little ditty to encourage people to vote. Thank you.
EPSB needs a strong advocate for public education. To me, that means advocating for public money - taxpayer money- to be invested in public education. The current practice of investing millions of taxpayer dollars in private education needs to change.
There's still time to vote in the advance poll. Thanks to supporters who have sent me a quick note saying they've voted - your support means a lot. For Ward D - you can cast your ballot in advance polls until Oct. 13. Closest locations: City Hall or Clareview Rec. Centre
Feeling thankful and so fortunate to have so many amazing people supporting me to be your next EPSB Trustee for Ward D. Thanks for the support, the words of inspiration and for encouraging me to run. Let's do this! One week left to achieve our goal to reach every door - we are so close!!!!! And apologies to the many hardworking people not pictured here who are continuing to work behind the scenes to make this campaign happen. www.votetrishaestabrooks.com
I've always supported Gay-Straight Alliances and if elected on October 16 I will continue to advocate for these important school clubs....because no one should have to ask for permission to feel safe.
Advance polls are open. Know who you are voting for. Here's a link to a series of videos Edmonton Public Schools did with trustee candidates. Please watch and get in touch if you have any questions email@example.com

Thanks to Edmonton Public Libraries for this fun survey. I had no idea how many surveys I would receive when I put my name forward for EPSB Trustee. So far, this one was my favourite to fill out and to share.
A great teacher inspires. I've been fortunate to have a few in my life.
It’s World Teachers’ Day on October 5 and we’ve got thousands of reasons to celebrate! Let’s make sure the 5,000 teachers across our District know why they deserve gold stars for their skills. Share your own stories about the talented teachers at your school and help us say thanks.
Candidates running for EPSB are asked to fill out a lot of surveys. Some, in my mind, are more important than others. This one, done by Edmonton Public Teachers, local 37 of the Alberta Teachers' Association was an important one and worth reading if you care about teachers, students and graduation rates of First Nations, Metis and Inuit students.
