Thank you Voyageur North for another outstanding outfitting! We canoed the Quetico Agnes-Kawnipi-McEwin-Louisa loop, logging about 80miles in 7 days. Your ultimate Kevlar equipment was tops. Our ...crew consisted of three 50-something boy scout leaders (old guys) and a 12 year old girl scout who was our inspirational guide and my power-paddler! It was the first time for my two brothers and they both can’t say enough great things about Voyageur North’s people, customer service, equipment and food! They want to get their own tents now to match the ones you outfitted us with! And I want to extend sincere gratitude for the special care you took to create menus for my brother with lactose and peanut allergies. The French toast preparation was perfect! No milk in the first ones and then add the milk for everyone else’s. Also, the addition of chicken as night-two meal is super YUMMY! All in all, we loved our trip, and it was all made possible by the outstanding people at Voyageur North. I’ve been a customer for over 30 years and will continue to be as long as I can portage and paddle. See More

I've been using VNO for my partial outfitting needs for years. I have my own gear and outfit myself. However, it's common to need an item or two or even several items. John and Lynn are always more happy to accommodate me no matter what my needs are. It doesn't matter that I'm only a partial outfit and not a full one. They are experienced, thorough and professional. Plus they are avid users of the BWCA/Quetico themselves. This makes them rich with knowledge of everything that goes into a wonderful wilderness camping/fishing adventure. I've got my trip planned for this year already. Thanks for all the assistance Lynn. Once again. Thanks for all the help and advice over the years. My first BWCA trip was in 1970. Looking forward to many more, God willing. Looking forward to seeing John, Lynn and the entire VNO team later this summer. Until then, have a great season!!!! Thanks again! See More

We just finished up a 5 day excursion with four adults. I needed to be Gluten Free because of an allergy to gluten, so I was obviously really worried because I knew if I had one slip up out there, I ...would be sick and miserable for a week. I talked at length ahead of time to Lynn and we figured out a meal plan that would work for me so that I always had snacks and meals that would work for me. When I arrived, everything was clearly labeled with GF for gluten free so I knew exactly what I could and could not eat. Not only that, but the desserts they picked were gluten free, but not yucky gluten free...really GOOD gluten free that everyone in the group shared. My group members tasted my meals and thought they were good and they enjoyed theirs, too. Our camping supplies were good quality, and we had everything we needed. They also directed us to a great little breakfast place that opened at 5am so we could head out really early on our journey. Lynn answered countless questions ahead of time since we had never been to the Boundary Waters. They met us at the pick up point with some cold beverages which tasted unreal after a week out on the water. Good people running a good business. Thank you for helping make sure I could go on this trip and not feel afraid that I might eat something that would make me sick. Your attention to my food needs are SO appreciated. Others who don't deal with food allergies may not understand, but those who do, will truly understand what a gift this was in making the trip less stressful! THANK YOU! See More

Tent had leaks and holes for bugs to get in. Canoe chair was broke. Rain fly had leaks too. Gear and food provided was more than adequate though. Made the most of an amazing trip to an amazing locatio...n. I'd use your services again. Thanks. Rich Hart, Uniontown Ohio See More
