What a wonderful fine art museum! There was a wonderful variety of pieces, from tiny inspiring glass sculptures
to large, thought provoking paintings. There was contempora ry Native American pottery (t...here was even a vessel covered in Carolina parakeets! ) and fascinatin g, sometimes manipulate d photograph s of people underwater . The lady at the desk (Ms. Behling) was very knowledgea ble and pointed out pieces I might have overlooked , told me stories about how some of the exhibition s came to be, and generally made the experience unforgetta ble! I can't wait to go back!
Fine art at it's finest! Always top notch exhibition
s and programs!

The shadows from the window installation by Denise Bookwalter and Lee Running are beyond amazing! Make sure to stop by in the afternoon to see how it transforms our Star Atrium!
Visit the museum before the performance and see our current exhibitions! We will be open from 6:30-7:30pm on Saturday, February 24, one hour before the performance at 7:30pm.
