Great music choices, knowledgeable and engaging DJs, live performances and significant membership/community involvement make for a unique and thoroughly enjoyable music station. I specifically love th...e intelligent banter between DJs, like during fund drives. I listen to a lot of music and I still learn a lot everyday I listen to WFUV. Long may you live! See More

Do I love this station! A mix of old and new, without the corporate garbage. You get the background of the song and artist. No screaming DJ's. People that have worked in the music industry, with a hea...lthy dose of respect for the artists and their craft. I listen all day at work, keeps my sanity in a crappy workplace. See More

I opened my local art gallery, The ArtFarm Decatur, in January of this year and quickly tired of playing DJ all day long. Once I found WFUV, I haven't changed the station since. I keep slips of paper ...with your contact info on my desk because so many customers ask what I'm listening to. You have yourselves a fan base smack dab in the middle of Illinois. I couldn't love your station more, thank you, thank you, thank you! See More

My favorite music station. Where I discover new artists and those who I already listen to, like Wilco, Steve Earle, Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, The Band, The Stones. Not since WNEW-FM in the late 60s ...and 70s has there been a station I listen to so much. Thanks for the music and the great DJs and concerts. See More

I found WFUV about 17 years ago online in Florida desperately seeking good music. Who knew I could stumble upon something so cool! Incredible mix of music, past and present. Originally from Staten Isl...and, I feel like I know what's going on in the city. Fellow Staten Islanders remember WNEW?...some of the same guys...you'll know them. Check it out...you won't be disappointed! See More

My favorite station for great music. Great no-nonense DJ's who are all about the music instead of being self-absorbed. Just the right mix of NPR news too.

Can't think of a better radio station! So many clutch classics intermingled masterfully with new musicians and regional favorites - great work soundtrack. Also, tastefully brief but essential news, aw...esome interviews, and a website full of goodies! Hooked for life :) See More

I love streaming WFUV! When we moved out of the city it was one of the things I missed the most.

So glad I can get all the music I love online!

I really like this station after all these years though I wish there was air time for musicians such as Allan Holdsworth, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and works from Robert Fripp's album Exposure.

Love the station and the DJs. Like the new and the old music blended together. Let's always remember our pioneers of "rock & roll". Always look forward to Mixed Bag each weekend, and if we happen to h...ave plans to go out on a Saturday evening, I get upset I have to miss it. Glad they have the archives. It's nice to know I can still listen to intelligent DJs and don't have to succumb to top 40 radio down the dial.....my ears would bleed! xo See More

I've been listening to WFUV since I landed in The Bronx some nearly 36 years ago. I love being a supporting member, and am thankful that I can again, as there have been some tough times that this sta...tion helped me to get through. Corny will remember my early AM calls after double-shifts bartending, requesting "Hot Burrito #1" by Raul Malo (which I dedicated to Corny when I re-upped my membership last year- I am forever grateful, Corny!!!!). So if you want to hear great music, innovative programming, as well as NPR news, listen and SUPPORT a station that has truly been my life and life saver. Thanks, WFUV. See More

Oh my goodness, I’ve been a Beatles fan forever and never before this moment have I heard Paul singing The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire). Be still, my heart. And thank you, FUV!

One of the last great independents. The music is what matters most. Music to my ears.

I have always loved WFUV, but this week, in which John Prine is your Essential Artist, you have outdone yourselves. No other radio station would do this! Just one more thing to thank you for.
