I have enjoyed, and appreciated, what WMRA has done for a long time.

I love WMRA public radio in Harrisonburg, Virginia. They have been "my" radio station pretty much since 1978 when I first moved to the Shenandoah Valley. I am now a Sustaining Member of WMRA because I... live in Staunton half-time and want to make sure that public radio is there to broadcast "MORE NEWS, less noise." See More

With the exception being, if you accept contributions from questionable individuals, foundations or, God forbid, corporations, of which I have no indication that you do, GM trucks notwithstanding..

...I have noticed, however, that you have some sensationally timbred newscasters who might want to use a subject-appropriate and, also, a less dramatic or frenetic tone. See More

The family that lives near a cemitary is racist. Mt. Jackson is nothing but a bunch of racists? Shenandoah valley is racist? That's a bold accusation. Expect a fall out.

Now they do, and WMRA's Christopher Clymer Kurtz paid a visit to find out why that's so important.
