Since my announcement at the end of May that I did not obtain enough signatures to be put on the ballot in this election cycle, I have learned that my cancer has returned. I am having surgery tomorrow, and I expect to have to go through another round of chemo afterward, but we caught it early, and my doctor expects a good outcome.

I will not give recommendations as to for whom anyone should vote - you should all do your own homework as to which candidate best represents your ...views.

But I will say this. Of the 3 remaining candidates for Wisconsin's Sixth District Democratic primary - Jessica King, Michael Beardsley, and Matt Boor - only one has even acknowledged my announcement, or my tweets regarding my recent health issues, much less offered to come over with ice cream or to help mow our lawn. And that's Matt Boor.

My cancer has sadly returned. Before (as you may recall from my campaign tweets), I had Stage Four endometrial adenocarcinoma - uterine cancer that had spread.
