Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski has resigned before the county’s chapter of the NAACP had planned to hold a vote of no confidence against him. A number of police officers are engaged in a discrimination lawsuit against the department, in which they say the department punishes black and Hispanic employees with harsher measures than white employees.
