I have been looking at some of the construction work shown on Linkedin, some of the architecture that is being produced in other countries is fabulous. Why can't we do this in America? It's because we have too many rules and regulations that are now out of date. I don't know how you do it but some how the architects, developers and builders have got to get together and make a concerted effort to prove to the powers to be, that we need to speed up the permitting process and h...ave more flexibility in design. On the other hand I should hate to see anything like what has happened to my town of birth, London. The buildings that they have put next to the classic buildings in the city are like water and oil, and someone made a big mistake, or followed the money.
I talk to some very clever and inventive people in the course of designing and building water features and I know that a lot of them would like to be producing many more quality new styled buildings, hopefully "soon" we can get all these rules and regulations modified and time wise shortened.
Thank you to all the designers and builders who are trying so hard to bring some of the towns and cities into the twenty first century, I know it is hard, but we must never give up trying.
Over twenty five years of designing and building beautiful water features and swimming pools.
It is amazing to me that people know so little about pools and how to look after them.
Commercial or residential, if the have the old marble plaster they are only going to last maybe twelve years before they need refurbishing. Also they will need to be upgraded at the same time to the state regulation . If you see the the plaster is looking a grey or blue, or has doller rings in the plaster then it is time to have the pool replastered. And while you are at it change the water line tile which has probably got a nice load on chemicals stuck to it.
Also at the same time the filters should be emptied and changed, depending on whether you have cartridge, DE or sand.
Just some good pool practises to avoid any problems.
The only constant is change
These days to stay current in the market of water features you have to keep inventing new ways to make water interesting and attractive to your project. Here at WaterWorks of Texas inc. we try to cover a lot of the basis. Steel swimming pools for elevated projects including on roofs. Custom hand made tile to make a truly personal statement in the pool. Bubble walls for the one of a kind statement in an entr...y or open area where you can have the water changing color with computerized LED lighting. Water Walls with water running down all sorts of mediums from glass to tile. And then moving fountains for that beautiful reflecting pond to set off your master project.
Let us know your wants and needs and put us to work designing and creating a one of a kind water memory for your project.
The beginning of the year has started off fairly quiet. We are talking to architects and designers around the world trying to find their wants and needs. Now that we have our new line on board we can now produce water fountains the likes of the Bellagio only on a smaller scale and more affordable.
Should you have a need for a water feature for indoors or out let us know and we will design and build a custom unit just for you.
A new year approaches and with it opportunity to design and build more beautiful water features. Always remember to check us out on FaceBook and YouTube under WaterWorks of Texas.
Big or small, inside or out we can design, build and install a water feature specifically for you.
Lets all look forward to a happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year with blessings for all
Bubble walls do not have to be vertical. Here is an example of a bubble wall/bar counter. With good computerized LED lighting this can create a great atmosphere in any club, bar, hotel etc. They can also be made to fit most shapes. Check us out on FaceBook and Youtube.
