Check out our new and improved courtesy light kit with "hidden" switches. Hide this switch on the pillar and the magnetic trigger on the door. Both pieces are paintable and simply press into a 3/4" hole. The switch is rated at 2 amps and has a maximum working distance of 3/4". This attractive flush mount design is very easy to install.
Kit includes: 2 of our 2" cool white LED strips, 2 of our brand new magnetic door jamb switches, connectors, wire and instructions.
Owning a business that sells to street-rodders is a double edge sword. On one hand I get to meet a lot of great people and see some terrific rides. On the other hand I don’t get to spend as much seat time in my car as I used to. So when I met Al DiMauro at the Syracuse Nationals I found a way to ease the pain of not driving as much as I’d like.
Al creates amazing paintings so I asked him to do one for me. If you know me you recognize my Cobra replica in the foreground. The re...d car at the pumps is a Devin. It is the kit car my dad built in the early ‘60s. Buds Gulf was owned by Pam’s dad for many years. This is a scene that never existed in life but reminds me of great times behind the wheel, and my love of 60’s sports cars. Thanks Al for a great job, it was a pleasure working with you. Check out more of Al’s work at http://www.bygracethroughfaith.net
Our Bullet Beehive lights have been a great hit but we were missing one thing until now. Backup/white running lights. Well not anymore. We now have our smaller units available with a clear lens and white light. The base is 2 1/4" dia. and they are 2 1/8" tall. We sell them in pairs on the web. http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/index.php… If you realllllly need just one give us a call.
At Watsons Streetworks we are proud that our parts in in some of the most beautiful hand built cars on the planet. We still happen to believe cars are meant to be driven. So I played hooky from work today and my wife and I jumped in our favorite ride. We headed out of town for a long weekend. After 18 years of trying I finally got all those digits on my odometer to be the same. The last time they were the same was when I built the car and they were all zero's then. Enjoy the ride folks.
The NSRA Northeast Nationals are coming up. We'll have our booth in the exhibit hall as usual so drop by. We look forward to seeing all our fellow street rodders in Burlington, VT. Show dates are Sept 16th to 18th. Stop by and check out all our award wining products
It's late and I'm a bit tired but I had to share. We have been at the PPG Goodguys nationals in Columbus, OH this weekend. We entered our Fuzz Buds in the new product showcase. (Fuds Buds are hands free calling from a pair of fuzzy dice which you pair to your smartphone) They were just awarded the peoples choice award for best new product! We are thrilled.
ore later.
Thanks to everyone who made it to our open house. The weather was great and so was the turnout. We love the mix of rides that show up. That Dodge convertible pickup is a very rare Carroll Shelby creation. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
Greetings from Watson’s StreetWorks!
We recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Platinum Custom Cars in Manteno, IL for a beautiful build! We always love to see our products once they are installed.
Bobby J. Kimbrough Jr., Editor @ Rod Authority http://www.rodauthority.com wrote a great article highlighting the specialties of Michael Dumas of Platinum Custom Cars in Manteno, IL.
... We were so impressed we thought we’d share it with you.

As you’ll see, this full blown custom muscle car is a work of art! We’re sure the paint job will look great. And, that hand fabricated dash and console really makes this unique!
This project was just too beautiful not to share and we hope you enjoy the article.

Today I'd like to highlight one of our suppliers. Trique Mfg. makes some beautiful products that would look great in your throw back ride. I'm going to stop taking your time now and let the pictures do the talking. check out everything of theres we carry. http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/featured-bran…/trique-mfg.
Let’s talk power window switches this throwback Thursday. I know they’re cheap and easy to find but it drives me nuts to see 60’s era GM switches in a beautiful and expensive interior. Yes, you could find them in Caddy’s. You would also find the same exact switch in Vegas! We offer one of the most complete lines of billet switches available today. Our 5 wire switches are perfect for widows, trunks and convertible tops. The combinations with our 3 wire switches are nearly endl...ess, but once you decide, we can build your custom panel(s) for you. Faceplates are oval or rectangular and range from 1 to 5 switches. Need more??? With our GT series we can build a panel as long as you want. Just as Henry in the UK. We built him a 9 switch panel for his ‘60s Mini.
Besides rocker switches we carry push buttons as well so check it out.
Now here’s the throwback hook you need to be of a certain age to understand. “Our switches will turn you on like a go-go dancer from the Rowan & Martin’s Laugh In.”

How about something new for your throw back rod on throwback Thursday? Our Hot-Dot switch replaces your old keyed ignition with a modern ignition system. This 22mm switch mounts in a 7/8 diameter hole. When running, the light ring glows in your choice of color. The solid state module has start, run and accessory circuits. A momentary push of the button activates the accessory circuit. Press and hold the button to engage the starter; once it’s released, you’re in run mode. Press it again when you’re in accessory or run mode, and it turns things off. The switch is available in Blue, Green, Red or White LED. Works with both carbureted and EFI systems.
