Sometimes you have to take a risk for what's right. One of the biggest arguments I see all the time regarding abortion is that it's murder, and that it shouldn't be used as a birth control. I agree. It shouldn't be used as a birth control. We should have sexual education and better access to birth control to prevent the need for abortion. But banning abortion won't stop it. And it also won't benefit anybody. Being pro choice doesn't make you pro abortion. It makes you pro wom...an's right to decide. It ensures that mothers are able to stay with their children. It ensures that losing one doesn't mean losing both. No sensible human being wakes up saying "I'm gonna have an abortion today!" excitably. Therefore taking the right away from people who need it, because they were raped, incest, survival, doesn't make the world a better place. If you believe abortion shouldn't be necessary, I'm with you. If you believe abortion should be illegal, you're now impeding on other people's rights. Be pro better access to birth control. Be pro Sex education. Teach your children how to be safe, not "don't ever do it". Because majority of you did, and while you didn't get pregnant, or you did, you know just as well as I do that our children are gonna follow our footsteps. As a father, I hope my daughter saves herself for marriage. But as a person who was once a teenager, I'll make sure my daughter is smart enough to know how to keep herself out of a bad situation. Because pro life or not, if it came down to my daughter or an unborn fetus that put them both at high risk, my daughter is going to live.
