HANNAH IS WAITING FOR THAT SPECIAL PERSON...who will understand her. Hannah has been waiting for 2 months and we are so thankful to the gang at Firehouse Pet Shop & Grooming for giving her a place in their Search & Rescue Room and that's where you can meet her. Hannah arrived at our shelter 2 months ago, so frightened, so worried, and she needs that quiet calm, soft place to land. When she loves you and trusts you she will get on your lap and purr while you pet her. Hannah just needs someone who will go slow and give her time to adjust.

Never seen a place so dedicated to getting every animal a home. Almost all staff are actually volunteers. This no kill shelter is amazing and our community works together to take care of the animals.

I appreciate WVHS so much, they provide so many services to our community. I have adopted a dog and cat from there, and am sure I will again. Love the new building too, what a great facility for the animals!

All my dogs (past and present) except one were rescued. Rescued dogs seemed to love and appreciate their owners much more than non-rescued dogs. I have a two year old female yellow lab I adopted six... months ago that smothers me with love and won't let me out of her sight. See More

I just recently [June 29th] had a most beloved [16 year old] kitty pass, that day my hubby took me to the humane society to get some "kitten therapy" and my son instantly bonded with a sweet kitten "mac" now "max" we got to bring him home on Monday and he has fit in so well with us so far, we just love him so much, the adoption process was super quick and easy, the volunteer was super helpful, and the facility was VERY clean! I couldn't be happier with my new baby. Thank you so much!! See More

I have to say I've been to a few Humane Societies, and WVHS was one of the cleanest places I've gone to! Not one kennel was ever messy! They kept the whole facility clean. All the staff was very helpf...ul and forthcoming. Nice and easy to talk to. You can tell that they care about the animals there. My family adopted Rascal. And he's the absolute best! Thank you for a good experience! And I'd definitely will come back when ready to adopt again! See More

We were very impressed with the new facility and the staff here at humane society. You could tell they put there heart into these little furry friends. We had one of the staff members spend time with... us giving us wonderful advice of adopting our first little mini dog Yogi and taking care of them. She was awesome and really new what she was talking about. They let us put yogi the dog and baby kitten Harley together to see how they worked together. I loved watching the kitties burrito and the other pretty kitty freely Rome the facility they called their home:) Thank you Humane society and God Bless to all of you and the furry friends! See More

We went in today with our hearts open to adopt a doggie and join our family. We were greeted in the entrance with respect but where I had an issue was with one of the volunteers I didn't catch her nam...e but she saw that we were interested in adopting a dog that was 8 years old and stated to us that he had to many medical issues and would be high maintenance to support. First of all we own an English Bulldog and this dog is more high maintenance than any type of dog, second if we wanted to adopt we had in mind that we would be spending some money to help bring a humane dog to its healthy stage, third we wanted to help our community by adopting instead of buying a puppy. Thank your volunteer for discouraging us and making us feel like we couldn't afford to adopt. So disappointed in this location. See More

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is the best place to adopt a forever friend! All of the employees there are very helpful and the animals are so cute! We adopted our Australian Shepherd Lab mix from th...ere 3 years ago. He is a wonderful pooch! When we first adopted him, we didn't know anything about him. My husband and he had a special connection, he loved our kids, and we knew he was the one! I hope you find your forever friend too. We certainly did! See More

We want to thank the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society! I had been looking for a new family member (DOG) since we had lost one of ours. I was having no luck in finding one and then I saw Spunky. I c...alled and they were most helpful. We had to drive 3 1/2 hours and we could put her on hold, they wanted to make the process as easy as possible for us. We were excited! When we got there, they had a beautiful, clean and impressive facility. The staff is wonderful, helpful and cheerful. The kennels all clean and they had wonderful meet and greet area's. We had brought our other dog with us to meet and greet. As things happened, it all worked for us and Rocky loves her and they are best of friends. THANK YOU WENATCHEE VALLEY! See More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved that they encouraged us to take our new potential family member out to their fenced yard to interact with my 2 and 4 legged kids to ensure he would be... a good fit for the whole family! Loved that they gave us plenty of time to answer any questions we had and didn't make us feel pressured or rushed into making a decision. As a a result we adopted Oso (now named Baloo). Wonderful experience! Thank you WVHS See More

The WVHS is the best place to adopt or foster an animal. The staff cares about the animals just as much as the volunteers helping to pamper the furry friends and make them feel more like family. If yo...u're looking for the perfect animal to complete your family, the WVHS is the place to go! See More

These volunteers work so hard and do such a good job with the space and funding they have. We adopted a 2 year old neutered tom from them not too long and he is absolutely the best cat. Can't say good things about them! See More
