Whalen Chevrolet is and always has been top notch. A family run organization that truly cares for their customer’s needs . It’s not every day an owner shows up and helps his employees and is such an i...ntricate part of the day to day operations.
Quite simply put there is no better place to do business. George and Tim have assembled a team to compliment their already close knit family. From Keith Saunders in the collision center To JT Green in service to Brendan Serritella in sales. You can’t go wrong from shopping here servicing here or on the event you hit one of those large horse size deer 🦌Keith Saunders and their top notch collision center will get the job done quickly and more importantly correctly.

I will tell everyone I know not to take it to Whalens they do very poor business See More

My car was worked on at the collision center. First they said it would take 12 days to repair, but they had it a month. Only to pick it up and me thinking that I wouldn't notice a difference, there is..., but not that bad, Yes I am picky though. I was thinking I would be picking up a clean car seems how they had it so long, wishful thinking. When getting it home and driving it I noticed something was still wrong with it. The more I drove it the worse it was getting, so I called them back. My first question was if they checked out my whole car when they had it and the reply I got was no. It was just front end damage and don't know how it would be accident related. Then had to explain my daughter did hit the wired guard rails and plowed over six of the poles. So they agreed to look at it again, did fix it at no cost. Well it did get fixed and running all good now. Well just got the chance to wash the car and of course can see the scratches that they did not repaint. Some little ones, but a nice long one on the passenger back door. So needless to say I will not ever do business with them again and would never recommend them to anyone. See More

Great place and honest salespeople! I have brought my car here for an estimate and to be fixed and they were the most reasonable and also did really good work! Would come here for my next car.

I recently went up to Whalen's for an oil change as I bought my car through them 6 months ago so I get them for free. I went to ask about the new NYS law about the tinted windows as my windows were qu...ite dark. When I was delivered the car back in June I was told the windows were factory tinted. Come to find out they weren't it was after market. Instead of charging me to take the tint off the windows, John Green told me he would just take care of it. After taking quite a while, not any fault of theirs as I'm sure that tint wasn't an easy task to take off, they brought my car around and I was on my way. I can't thank them enough for not only having knowledge of the new laws but being so great taking the tint See More

I want to thank the team at Whalen Chevrolet including George Whalen Jr., Joe Bovair, Brandon and Kevin in the Finance department for getting us our beautiful new 2016 Chevy Malibu LT! In less than t...wo days and only a couple of phone calls, we drove off the lot with our family's much needed new car. We could not have asked for better service and we will continue to do our business with Whalen Chevrolet for all of our future automotive needs! See More

Went to Whalens yesterday looking to buy a new suv and was beyond disappointed!

The sales man tried to get us into a "discount" Durango -pass! And then insisted on an minivan. ...

I had pulled into to look at a Rogue and was looking in the windows when approached and was told it wasn't something for us. Found a rogue at another dealer and is on the short list of our possibilities.

Finally convinced him to show us the terrains and treverses. One 112000 miles, tag of 21k and had the engine light on. FILTHY! Trash in the doors, something sticky all down the doors.

A terrain was equally filthy. Dog hair LITERALLY on the roof, I went to look at the back seat and grabbed a clump of dog hair, trash and who else knows what off the floor.

The dash was covered in stains.

Turned me off majorly. Drove it to see if it was something I was interested in looking further into but sadly the mess made me judge the car very harshly.

Would not come here to buy a car. Very disappointing because Whalen has been a staple in the community for as long as I can remember.

My wife made an appointment for a recall repair on her Cruze.the service dept. was aware why the car was coming in. The part was not available at this time, but the service dept. still had my wife brin...g the car in. She made arrangements to drop off the vehicle and even took the next day off of work because of this. When leaving the car, she asked if they could check why her trunk keeps popping open by its self, and why a temp readout was giving a wrong readout. There was never a mention of a diagnostic fee. My wife receives a phone call to pick up her car. Upon arrival she is told that the car is not fixed, because they don't have the part, and she is given a $192. bill for diagnosing her problems. The car was not even hooked up to a machine. I have spoken to the VP of Whalen and he is not concern about this. He said a couple weeks ago he would look into this. I'm wondering if this is a common practice for women going into thus dealership alone. Beware of this dealership, do your homework before doing business with them. See More

Not happy with the service department at all! First two times I was told my vehicle was ready only to find the check engine light still on when I went out to get in it. last time - yes last time, I a recall on my car. Made an apt to have it fixed. Took precious time on my day off to drive 25 miles to Greenwich, sat and waited and was finally told that they did not have the part??? Really, can't you check before you make the appointment. Next apt at Mangino in Ballston to get it replaced. See More

Yesterday at 11:15am my work truck was hit head-on and totaled which is my livelihood. I realized trying to find the comparable equipped truck ready to go would be difficult. I texted Gary Bristol wit...h the specs and explained my situation and he immediately responded with what he had and offered to bring the truck home from work to look at it. SOLD !!

Gary then called me today on Sunday to iron some needed equipment details out so he could have it ready to go ASAP so I wouldn't miss a beat ! Thanks Gary and Whalen Chevrolet for a great experience ....

Initial sales experience was great. No issues there but the service department is horrible. Work that was supposed to be done never was. We put a lot of miles on our vehicles and trade them in every f...ew years and because of their dishonest service department we won't be going to Whalen again. See More

First, Sales experience was great, no pressure, and answered all my questions. That being said, make sure you have any used car or truck checked by your personal mechanic. I bought a 2006 Silverado they said had been gone completely through before I bought it. After I bought it, I found the front speakers not working. I brought it back within 48 hours, and was told it had no warranty and they would not fix it. See More

My wife was treated very poorly when she brought my brand new truck in to have an error message looked at by service staff. She was disrespected, and treated like a child.
