Great attitude. Disabilities make things harder, but not impossible. Everyone should have cool dreams and be supported in trying to reach them.
Who says you cannot do something you would love to try?
New Zealand All Black Rugby team MVP, and great ambassador for his sport, Dan Carter tries Wheelchair Sports with children in Japan. His comments: "A new appreciation for these sports & their athletes. It's a lot harder than it looks."
We love to see our supported children strive and show the world what they are able to do. Linda Wang (Wang Meng Xing) keeps doing just that. She was one of the hosts at children’s day celebration at the Langfang International Hotel. Check out the pictures below. #wheelspluswings
Here is another great update about Linda Wang and what has changed in her life since she received her wheelchair from the WheelsplusWings Foundation.
I am currently spending my days working at the computer, organizing information, and publishing the latest news about the company I work for. Yes you heard right, I have a job and my own life. My unclear future that was once a dream has now become reality.
When I was a kid, my life and space was reduced to only my bed as I could... not walk without a wheelchair and I rarely left the house. I didn’t know anything aside from my home. I thought there was nothing else in this world.
When I turned 13 years I started to attend the local school, I started to read and all of a sudden I realized that there was much more out there in the world to see. I sadly had to stop going to school due to my disability and my life returned to my bed and my family’s small yard.
Over the course of time I have used a few wheelchairs, but the best one is the one I received from the WheelsplusWings Foundation, as it is the most compact one. With it, I could finally walk again.
During the hard times in my life, painting has given me the mental and spiritual support needed in order to carry on and to dream big. With the help of WheelsplusWings, I was able to show my paintings at an art exhibition and share my vision and view of the world. The exhibition was a big surprise in my normally rather dull life.
Life will always offer you chances. When I turned 22 years, I got my first job, which I never thought would be possible. I continue to dream big as I am planning to go a lot of places and hope to travel and make myself more independent.

We love technology and we love when it seamless integrates with everything we do. The guys at Chaotic Moon Labs came up with a great new fitness tracker for wheelchair users. “We realized that nothing really existed for fitness tracking, and thought, ‘Hey, this is important. Why not create something?'” said Tyler Hively, a Chaotic Moon content strategist who uses a wheelchair. And we could not agree more. Another reminder that being "differently abled" does NOT have to exclude you from doing something you love, nor separate you from others who love the same thing. You just have to believe in yourself and work for it. WheelsPlusWings is all about integration, in sports, work and play, for people of all abilities. With a little effort, most people can do more than they might at first think; whatever their starting point. Do you know someone who is differently abled who could achieve their dream? Tell us their story and we might publish it here.
Here is another great update about Linda Wang and her latest adventure - A trip to the beach.
I have always dreamed about going to the beach and my dream came finally true. This trip to the beach has also been the farthest I have ever travelled. The sun, sand, and sea breeze made the tiring trip worthwhile. Once we arrived at the beach there were no cars to be heard and no pollution to be seen. Everything went back to nature.
I also made it into the sea where the water was de...ep enough to swim, but I didn’t swim too far. Walking on the beach and seeing my footprints was great. I never thought that I would be able to see the sea. I came to understand that the meaning of travel is to show courage and to explore the world.
