Check out Jack Pearson's expression when he realizes he loves this guitar. He then asks if he can carve his name in the back. Ultimately he may do just that. He owns it now.

My good friends at Wampler Pedals sent me a great surprise today. Out of the goodness of their hearts they produced a video featuring to the 2 Whitfill Customs they recently purchased. The folks at Wampler pedals are some of nicest people you'll ever meet, and Oh, by the way their products are phenomenal. If you haven't tried Wampler Pedals your missing a real opportunity.

What a compliment it is for someone like Joe, to have enough confidence in my work to play a guitar live, with the Eagles, that he'd only had his hands on for less than an hour.
I am honored.

Took a "Cousin Paul" to the show and Joe decided he had to have it.
Said he just may play it tonight.

It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Been invited to the Eagles show tomorrow to discuss additional builds for Joe Walsh.

Just wrapped up a set for Gibbons and Dusty.

One more that Warren tested.
This is "Cousin Pual", Gibson scale Mahogany set neck with a maple cap.
2 Humbuckers, 2 vol /2 tone, stop tail and tunematic.
Kind of looks like a T and acts like something else: Hense the name Cousin Paul.
Warren loved the guitar, but obviously has the humbucker realm covered....
This guitar will make somebody a nice one!

After trying a few, Warren Haynes decided on this Dakota Red T as his second purchase for the day,
In this clip he's trying to assess whether his pedal rig will handle the single coils.
The plan is to use the guitar live later that night without altering the rig.

I heard from Warren Haynes a few weeks ago.
He informed me that he used his Whitfill T on several tracks on the new Gov't Mule album, and would like to take a look at some additional guitars.
We will be meeting this weekend to accomplish just that.
Look for an update next week.

The band photographer took this random picture of Joe while he was awaiting my arrival backstage.
I must say he appears to be quite pleased.

Delivered a custom Hardtail S to Joe Walsh recently.
Joe is truly one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met.
Oh, by the way, he's crazy about the guitar.
More to follow on that subject.
