Their class on baby wearing was excellent. If it wasn't for it, we would never have had the courage to go for the woven wrap that has been a lifeline with our newborn. They also have a great selection... of carriers, wraps and slings and very knowledgeable and helpful staff (all the way up to the incredibly nice owner). Lastly, the store is just a pleasure to be in. Has the feel of an old bookstore or quaint cafe except its all about babies. Frankly, we come up with any excuse to make the car trip from Astoria. Caribou has an awesome assortment of baby carriers and natural products for babies and toddlers as well as a super friendly and informed staff. The weekly singalongs are also fantastic! I recommend ...Caribou to everyone! Since moving out of the city I have had to order online and that has been really easy with fast delivery. See More

I buy wraps often, but this was my first time purchasing from Caribou Baby. I accidentally put in the wrong address (one that doesn't exist) and they called within a few hours of my order being placed... to get the correct one! Then within a few minutes of hanging up I got an e-mail that my order had shipped. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'll be buying from them again, and will check them first for anything I'm looking for because of their great customer service, fast shipping, and user-friendly site! If you are like me, you are a parent or someone concerned with being prepared to save a child's life, should the need arise. How would you react in the moment if your baby was choking on a piece of solid food? Would you know how to administer the Heimlich maneuver or CPR to your baby if they stopped breathing? When is an accident serious enough to necessitate a trip to the hospital?

All of these questions and more will be answered at our Infant CPR and First-Aid Training! Pro...vided by Baby Be Safe, this class is intended for Moms, Dads, nannies, or anybody else who watches your baby or cares for your family. You will learn the skills for prevention, recognition, and treatment for choking (Heimlich), respiratory, and cardiac emergencies (CPR) for infants and children. There will also be hands on practice using infant and children mannequins. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to either learn for the first time or to brush up on your infant CPR and first aid skills.

Baby Be Safe CPR and First Aid classes are led by American Heart Association (AHA) and Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) Instructors certified in CPR, First Aid and BLS for Healthcare Providers. Our instructors utilize real world experience in emergency safety, health care, education and family.
