Three Players off of the 17u team have committed to Bemidji State! Congrats to all 3 of them!

The Second Half of the AAU season has officially started. All three teams played in the State Summer Invitational in Appleton this past weekend. The 17s went 3-1 with a close 6 point loss to TP Elite. The 16s and 15s each went 2-2. Big tournament coming up in two weeks in Milwaukee....NY2LA Next Level Invite July 10-14.

Highlights from the Mr. Basketball 12th Annual Dakota Showcase Men’s Platinum Championship AAU boy’s game at Augustana College’s Elmen Center in Sioux Falls on June 28-30, 2012. Wisconsin Jets vs. Wisconsin Blizzard Kellett.

Jets win the Dakota Showcase, with an average margin of victory of 18 points per game. In semi-finals against a tough Blizz-Hawley team we won by 26. Then in the finals against the Blizz-Elite-Kellet squad we jumped out to a 24-4 lead before winning 64-49. With a 6-0 performance in Dakota our record is now 17-5. Tim Wagner was tournament MVP averaging 17.7 points, tying the tourney record for 3's with 26, and doubling his closest competitor.

Jets 16U go 4-2 and lose in semi-finals of the Hugh Roberts tournament. Great effort this weekend, highlighted by opening round win against tradition power Randolph.

The 16U Jets play on Saturday and Sunday in Ankeny, IA. Our first game is at 9:10 on Saturday morning and then again at 12:40 on Saturday afternoon. After those two games we enter bracket play.

Shane White comes in ranked 41st in new Wisconsin rankings. Tyler Semenas comes in 27th.

17U went 2-2 against really tough competition. We beat the 9th ranked team in Minnesota and a TX D1 Ambassadors team with 5 D1 players. Our losses were against the #22 ranked team in the country and an impressive Fundamental U team with 4 D1 players.

Great weekend by both teams!!! 16U went 4-2. Making it to the finals in the gold bracket. Michael Woggon was fantastic, an absolute star. All 11 guys on the team stepped up to help us win 4 games by less then 4 points.

On the road to Minnesota today!!! Looking forward to this weekend. Great competition and I love the energy and excitement I get from this group.
