To eight-time X Games medalist and WSF Athlete Advisory Panel member Lyn-z Adams Hawkins Pastrana, competing against the best skateboarding had to offer was incredibly important. Although she was fortunate to have sponsors, some of her fellow boarders weren't as lucky -- a story that holds true across every single sport. Our Travel & Training Fund, established in 1984, provides direct funding to athletes who need our help covering the expenses needed to make it to the top. VIDEO OF THE DAY: We had front-row seats to an incredible moment today at the U.S. Women's National Team's final training before its sendoff match tomorrow.
