If you want to view 36 minutes of humbling , goosebumps giving footage, you must watch the Change Makers documentary which was 18 months in the making; a magnificent collaboration between our school and the UQ School of Journalism. The documentary tells the real story of Woodridge SHS.
Help us change the negative perceptions in the community of our school by sharing this incredible documentary.

What other high school can match this one? You can try every other high school in Australia and it is nothing compared to Woodridge State High School. I graduated here 7 years ago and haven't been incarcerated even once unless you count a night in the watchhouse after some nosy candy in the val. No conviction recorded though!

I went to a few of schools in Australia and New Zealand. Woodridge SHS was my last and definitely the best. I graduated from Year 12 in 1977 and didn't want to leave. I was taught by some of the dedicated teachers of my youth and made some of my most important friendships. I may have just been one of the sports "jocks" but I took a lot with me when I left.
