Very disappointed with this company. I've specifically asked them to correct the punctuations and spelling mistakes but they never did. I was told they'll send me a copy before publishing for me to ... proof-read it. I never got one. I was also told that they have editors who correct all the mistakes. I've paid nearly a hundred dollars for my daughter's story to be published but all I got was disappointment. What kind of editors do you employ?

1. She was the quiet "on"... Are you kidding me? It's very obvious based on the flow of the story that the word is "ONE" and not "on".

2. At bedtime, she "wet" to have a snack. The correct word is "WENT"! That's simple English!

There are other sentences that needed a comma but they never corrected them.

I want a refund. Paying that much to your company is not worth it if you can't do your job properly.

I would just like to say this is such an amazing initiative to encourage children to write. My son was over the moon to receive a letter to say he will be published in the book. Whether he wins or not... it doesn't matter as you have recognised him as a great writer and in the end that's all that matters, encouraging our children to be the best they can and to enjoy to write.
A big thank you to the write 4fun team from us here in Sydney, goodluck to all the children that have made it so far this year!

How do you possibly justify one prize that is competed for by Kindergarten to Grade 12 students? I simply cannot believe this is anything other than a money making scheme of the type alerted to by NSW... fair trading in their post Types_of_scams/Vanity_publishers See More

I received the book this morning. It does look great however, a huge disappointment on 2 aspects. Firstly the plaque that arrived a couple of weeks ago was a piece of paper stuck on a plastic Perspex ...which I have already contacted you about and I am waiting on receiving the old style plaque that you have offered to compensate me with. Secondly and most importantly I currently have my son in tears due to his dedication not being printed. How dare you leave this out as this was a huge deal for him to be able to thank those important people. We are all very disappointed and will be sharing our experience with everyone around us. My son would like to ask you "why is my dedication left out?" I hope you will answer this question for him not sure what excuse you could possibly have. VERY DISAPPOINTED. See More

I fear that they are generic letters that everyone got. How could the cost of producing these books possibly justify the price of $70+ for parents to fork out in order to get their child published. Ar...e the entries even read before the letters are sent to our children telling them they have been selected? Is this just a great ploy to get parents to hand over cash because their children are under the false impression that they have been chosen? I feel very disappointed for my son but I don't think I can be apart of this. See More

I just want to personally thank you as I have just received my letter from WEIPA and I'm just over the moon to have this opportunity. As we speak I'm emailing my confirmation as I have just got my let...ter unfortunately after a month it was sent. Other than that, I would love to have my poem published in the new book and it would be such a fantastic offer. Thankyou!! See More

I believe write4fun have great intentions to promote young writers. However i see a discrepancy when most of the 2015 winners are all high school students and very little primary students. It is... very disappointing when a grade 3 child is competing with a year 7,8,9,10 :( it doesnt give the young child a sense of achievement. Please review your finalistd next time and catergorize the winners based on year and age levels See More

This is a great way for kids to learn and ecplor life but...
I believe that even though you have different criteria for different grades I think that age groups would be a big change and also a good c...hange as this means that younger children ,and potential authors , will not start thinking "Oh no!!! I have to compete with 17 year olds... ill be terrible!!!" as this will decrease confidance that they shall need later in life!!
This is still an ecceptional way to learn and explore!!!

Everyone receives the letter. Lots of negative feedback if you do an online search. Have been known to publish a poem a student has copied and claimed as their own. Why do you have to pay for having y...our work published aren't you meant to be paid? See More
