Good on Ken Burnside. I too hope that no one else is ever stuck with this award. It's a crying shame that so many people were so petty that they'd rather throw their cake on the ground than have to share it with anyone nominated by people they disapprove of.

So, today I received this 3D-printed crashed rocket ship, titled "The Wreck of the Hugo" as created by artist Charles Oines and commissioned by Ken Burnside. O...thers went to Kary English, Mike Resnick, and Toni Weisskopf. According to Ken Burnside, the official 2015 Hugo voting tallies showed each of us recipients as runners-up to the 2500-vote NO AWARD bloc that wrecked the Hugos this year in many categories.

I gratefully accept the gifted award in the spirit in which it was given, and sincerely hope that no future Hugo nominees are ever again voted off the island in such a fashion.

Thanks, Ken Burnside.

I (Sean) just finished a absolutely brilliant interview with author Marko Kloos. He's so very easy to interview.

I (Sean) spent Friday evening at HonorCon in Raleigh. The con runners have graciously offered space to record for the podcast, and I should be interviewing author Marko Kloos on Saturday. As all of his friends say, Marko is a pretty nice guy.

In addition, I played the "Bridge Simulator" game they have in "Pre-Beta" at the con. It's pretty interesting. I'd like to see what happens when you get a few people familiar with navy bridge procedure on it. I ran the Weapons console, and ended up directing the engagements. There is a strong possibility that I will get to interview the game creator. It's a cool concept that I'd like to see more of in the gaming world.

So, who has questions for Marko? Put them in the comments.

Ali and I have found it difficult to read an entire novel and produce a show in one week. We are considering moving to an every other week format.
