I popped into the centre today as part of an information gathering exercise for a some stories.I met Charles, a true born storyteller and mind of information.he showed me around telling me so may inte...resting facts. He made my trip very worth while telling me some facts and true life stories of the lost generation. Charles made me laugh cry and use bad lanugage at some of the unfair treatment of men and women by other humans, and sometimes not even those who were called the enemy. Thank you for the tour but also for the fact that you are preserving history of the lost generation for future generations. Janet Goring Bluebird the Storyteller. See More

Had a wonderful and informative hour or so here with my grandson. Charles and all the staff were extremely friendly and could answer any questions that you may have about the war or any of the many ex...hibits they have. It is a wonderful and amazing place tucked away in Fort Widley that is very well worth a visit. See More

My son had a history project to complete but was finding the books a bit "dry" so we paid this place a visit & came away with a much greater understanding of the war. The team spent hours with us, exp...laining every exhibit & piecing together very moving & deeply personal stories. Nothing was too much trouble. They haven't just gathered a load of stuff together & added a few labels. They've actually spoken with families, found out about local individuals & recorded their stories in a variety of ways. It was well worth the visit. Truly inspiring. See More
