There are subsets of ableism. Allism is oppression of autistics. Audism is oppression of the Deaf. Sanism is oppression of people with mental health/emotional issues. There are others.

Systemic oppression (such as ableism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, sexism, transmisogyny, etc..) is not the same as hardship or abuse. People who do not experience systemic oppression can still experience hardship and/or abuse. Pointing out systemic oppression does not negate other people's problems. If my house is on fire, it does not negate the fact that other people's houses may also be on fire, or have been on fire in the past. I still need to put out the fire.

Oppression does not have to be malicious or intentional to still be oppression. For example, telling a disabled person they're brave may seem like a compliment, but if they haven't done anything to merit the statement, then it's a microaggression.

Microaggressions are small, daily forms of oppression. They can be things like saying "you're so pretty for a disabled person/black person/trans person/etc." Microaggressions can be talking over an oppressed person while they're telling their own truth. Or trying to help a disabled person without asking first. Or making assumptions based on stereotypes. Or using harmful language. Microaggressions can be just as harmful blatant oppressions like refusing somebody housing because they're a minority, or other forms of discrimination.
