CTV’s coverage of last weekend’s Ice Dragon Boating Event - hosted by the Manitoba Paddling Association with proceeds going to The Dream Factory. It was a great day of paddling on the ice!
This annual festival hosted by the Manitoba Paddling Association raised more than $4,000 for the Dream Factory - a Winnipeg-based charity. More than 100 paddlers participated in this event. Whilst the "You should be paddling!" team finished 5th in the races, collectively we finished 3rd for team fund raising! What an awesome start to the 2018 paddling season!
This Sunday, Feb. 25, the “You should be paddling!” Dragon boat team will be competing on ice at the Manitoba Canoe and Kayak Centre, located at 80 Churchill Dr. Our races are at noon, 12:30 and 1:30. Come out and cheer us on!!
