I wanted to let everyone know, just in case you might be interested, that I've been invited to appear at the Barnes & Noble at Monroeville Mall for a special ev...ent they have going on called B-FEST, which is a young teen book festival. The store manager thinks that my book might have an appeal to teenage readers because of it's subject matter: zombies. So if you're in the Pittsburgh area and would be interested in the event I'll be there on Saturday, June 11 at the Monroeville Mall Barnes & Noble from 2pm-4pm. Thanks! - Lee Karr http://stores.barnesandnoble.com/event/9780061786819-0
See More- I have attended the last two zombiecons 2014-2015 in Fort Myers. I w...ill turn 60 years old this August. Would have I returned again this year after the shootings last year? Yes. But City Council of Fort Myers voted not to have zombiecon returned because of the shooting. So now there is a mass shooting in Fort Myers at a club. There were not two or three victims such as ZombieCon with 1 death. There are 15+ shot with 2 deaths at this time. The attendance at this club we're probably around 100 to 200 people. The attendance at zombiecon was well over 5000 people at each event for every year it was held. With only one shooting. Yet council reacts quickly swiftly to shut it down. Did club blue generate taxes and profit for the city such as ZombiCon? How will city Council react to the shooting at this club. Will they close this club? Will they shut down all events in Fort Myers due to the threat of violence. I support Pushing Daisies and the ZombieCon event. I believe it is time we take this back to city council. See More
