The staff & other customers are so helpful! Store is very clean and had everything I needed for a traditional Korean meal. Can't beat friendly one-stop-shopping.

Simply amazing! Enjoyed exploring this gem of a store recently. The physical space is well lit, orderly and so very clean. There are so many interesting items that it is easy to stray from a shoppin...g list and add other exciting finds. The most amazing part of shopping here has to be the customer service. Fun, friendly and informative are the three words that come to mind. When it comes to purchasing a product that you are not familiar with yet, having someone explain the subtle differences and uses is invaluable. This first time customer will definitely be back for more of this wonderful place. If only to work my way through all the varieties of seaweed! See More

This is one of my favorite places to shop. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and always smiling. The store is clean, well stocked, brightly lit and nicely organized. The selection of seafood is dy...namite. From exotic to domestic, they have it all. The pricing is much lower than I would expect for an upscale market like the Galleria Market. Do yourself a favor, stop by an shop at this gem of a grocer. You'll be glad you did. See More

Jason at Galleria is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I have had many great dinners and cooking adventures with friends starting in this grocery store. Check them out.

This post is not to advocate you falling off the cyber-grid, but to help protect yourself online.

I randomly came across this book as an Audible suggestion, so I gave it a listen

...

some (most) of items discussed may not be for you, but I really like the idea of buying a cheap Chromebook for the sole purpose of logging into finance and banking websites only. It seemed like a really good idea.

some other key takeaways: don't use google/facebook/twitter login to sign up for other sites. (you'll be giving up waaaay too much data to those companies for the sake of convenience.) I tried to switch off logging in through those websites after hearing about it.. not easy.. but got better about it.

Passwords: very important to make it long, like 14 characters at least. (I'm still not sold on password manager, but each their own.)

VPN: (the book sorta mentions them from time to time) You should run it whenever possible.

and just like the way I talk about Salt, Sugar Fat ( https://amzn.to/2H06fz4 ) you may not want to know, but it's always good to know, even if painful, so you can make an "edumacated" decision.

anyway, I figured this book was worth checking out at a local library.

And I'll add a little on-going personal campaign: don't use your Debit card online

btw, if you would like to get it in an audio book format, but don't have an audible account, now is a pretty good time to sign up, as Amazon/Audible is running a-get-2-books free trial, rather than just one.. https://amzn.to/2GZUwR1

Happy Easter! and wish you a good weekend

i can't say that's the only reason why we don't carry sushi Salmon in store, but this article sure made me hungry for some Salmon sashimi!! as well as some de-worming medication, which we carry in store

A recent podcast episode shared, in grisly detail, the story of a California man who discovered a parasitic worm wriggling out of him. He and his doctor suspect raw salmon was the culprit.
