I can't thank the staff enough for making my stay in Ireland so wonderful. They made me feel welcome, and even part of an Abbey Court family. They also ensured that I felt safe and comfortable, prov...ided excellent directions to various places I was interested in seeing (better than most people in Ireland), and were very flexible and accommodating. They helped ensure that I had the best vacation EVER! See More

I stayed here a couple of years ago now in April on my own in a mixed dorm hostel. I was a little frightened as I'd never been to Ireland before, done a holiday by myself or stayed in a hostel but I l...oved it, it was very safe and secure. Clean and tidy ; food was good. See More

Great hostel, free breakfast. To top it off Reji was an absolute star, letting us use the common areas for an extra evening since our ferry got delayed due to the hurricane.

I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and it was perfect for me. My roommates were very polite, the shower inside the room was very good and the bed was very comfortable. The Staff was very nice during my c...heck in and check out time. The breakfast is simple but good enough to start mornings. The only problem was that my room was on the first floor and with my window facing the street, it got a bit noisy during some nights. The location is great, near the centre and transportation. I recommend it! See More

This hostel was unique and extremely cozy. I loved all the art work on the walls. The hammock room was so comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful with any question my friends and I had. T...he location was perfect. This was my first time in Dublin. I stayed at Abbey the first night of my trip, and 15 days later when we came back, we stayed again. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone in the Dublin area. Thanks for the great hospitality! See More

My friend and I arrived at Abbey Court hostel on Friday at about 12 o'clock where we were met by a pleasant receptionist. However from then on, it all went downhill. We came back from Longitude music ...festival at 12 am and went to get our key for our room. The receptionist this time was very condescending. He gave us the code for our room with no key card and didn't tell us where it was. He gave us 3 or 4 very strong warnings about sleeping in the wrong bed before we even got to the room, (obviously we only had the intetion to sleep in the beds that we were assigned). Then on the Saturday when we came back they gave out to us for not having the key card that we weren't given in the first place, saying we can't get in without it. We were given a big lecture but eventually they let us go to our room. Sunday just went from bad to worse. This time they gave us another lecture for only having one key card saying that only one of us could go into the hostel, despite only having given us one key card the previous night. Both receptionists laughed at us saying it's impossible that we only got one key card and again kept us waiting for about 10 more minutes. The hostel itself was fine, the guests were lovely but some staff members were very rude and inhospitable. See More

Went with my sister to this hostel!
Location is perfect!, close to the supermarket, close to the nightlife of Dublin. Breakfast is basic (milk, cereals, bread, butter, jam, cheese, ham, tea), but if y...ou want something else there is a Starbucks around the corner, and the Aldi, Lidl and other supermarkets are just 4 minutes walking. The rooms are big!
It is a cosy hostel and we would like to thank the amazing staff! It felt like home:)
Lorenzo, the sweet crazy Italian that is very helpfull!! Lorenzo you are great!! (Scialla)
Also a big thanks to Reggy!!! He gave us awesome tips about Dublin. Big thanks to Atanas, Florin, Sonil and Andor! You guys deserve more than 5 stars!!

We will come back very soon:)

We have just come back from a weekend long hen do where we stayed at Abbey Court. The place is brilliant, location is great, rooms and facilities clean and tidy and breakfast was perfect.

The "bring own beer" bar was plenty big enough to fit the 26 of us & was self contained enough for us to make a fair old bit of noise without disturbing the other guests. The hammock room was used by a few of us with sore heads before departure.

A massive thank you to Naomi who put up with my phone calls and organising it - your recommendation of the pub/walking tour was brilliant. The rest of the staff were great too!

We'll be back :)

We will be back thank you for everything. See More

I travelled here alone and overall this is a great hostel - the look at atmosphere is fun and welcoming! The location is incredible and the staff were always super helpful, whether for booking a tour ...or for giving directors. The courtyard & bar (self-serve) is beautiful and so unique! The place is sort of a maze, but it's really fun and not hard to find your way around because signage is great. Hmmm... downsides? I suppose the showers in the shared women's area (2nd floor) were so cold! But there are other private showers that were warm. Great place, I was so happy to land here upon my arrival alone :) See More

Absolutely LOVE this hostel!! :) Honestly can't recommend it enough!.. Abbey Court has everything you could want... Fab location, bags of character, really helpful & friendly staff, clean dorms, lovel...y (free!) breakfast, chilled laid back atmosphere & a load of quirky rooms to discover, like their cute little bring your own booZe bar, where there's a piano, pingpong & computerS free to use whenever you want.. And not to mention the hammock room, that helped ease the hangover! Really cool smoking area too. I can't wait to return again to Abbey Court in the future:) See More

I was told to leave the hostel because I have insulted some girls, which I certainly did not. I didn't insult anyone and I have treated everyone fair and correct. After I demanded that I want to see ...the video in which I'm allegedly insulting other guests, they refused my demand and told me that they believe their staff. I was told to leave also because I have allegedly insulted with another guest who was also told to leave, but I wasn't in the hostel that day at all. I spoke to the stuff and they told me no one had any complaint on me. You caused me a lot of trouble and treated me unfair. As a costumer I have my rights which in this case you violated. Therefore, I'm giving you the smallest regard. See More

I didn't have much experience with hostels but I absolutely loved it here. I came back a few times over the summer and was never let down. The quirky cool decor, spacious community rooms, great breakf...ast, perfect location and the fun helpful staff that was friendly and knowledgeable every time I needed help. Special thanks to Lucas and Silvia for going above and beyond to help, make me feel welcome and get me out of a bind on more than one occasion. Can't wait to return :) See More
