Messaged the Facebook page on the 9th and the 14th of January about organising something for my 21st, you have seen both messages and haven't even bothered to reply! I've emailed you guys twice and still no reply, really fkn poor from you guys! Hope you don't treat anyone else like this!

Usually have an amazing time at academy but last night was atrocious. After getting into the club which was an experience itself thanks to one bouncer, my friend and i head downstairs to the bar. The bartender was very rude, we ordered two rum and cokes, he poured us vodka lime sodas, when i tried to get his attention to get the correct drinks he glared us down and continued to tap my friends card. We forgot to transfer money and asked him to stop and wait and instead he tried to pay pass it and then get annoyed at us when it was declined. We asked him to wait a secons and he kept flashing the reciept in our faces. Very dissapointed with service last night, it was 10pm when we turned up so not even busy yet.

Had an event here last night and was absolutely amazing! Caleb made everything run smoothly, was very accommodating, answered all my questions, was always quick to respond. And on the night was fantastic, always helping and making sure everything ran smoothly! Thank you guys so much! Jake had an incredible time and we appreciate how easy you made that aspect of the party super easy! Thank you so much and would definitely recommend holding events through you guys!

Academy is usually pretty ok, but last night was disgusting. I understand it was Halloween and very busy but damn, one of the bartenders was extremely rude, served a bunch of people before us because we were to close to the “no service area” then when she finally took our order she asked for $20, disappeared then came back and said the drinks were actually $28.. She was very rude, exchanged dirty stares and it seemed like she would rather look “hot and sexy” then do her job..

Denied entrance because I was wearing shorts. Dress codes are understandable, but only if they are enforced fairly: Guys wearing even shorter lederhosen and girls wearing next to nothing were free to enter. Back home we call that inequitable, and it could be speculated that such behavior could be concealed discrimination.

They overcharged us for Drinks. Their page specifically says $7 vodka redbulls. Got charged $10 for one and was told "can't do anything about it once the transaction is made, Sorry"

Academy hosted my 18th birthday party yesterday, the staff were so lovely and really made my night.. would highly recommend!

Always wanted to go but I was told by the bounces that I could go in because I had shorts on?! Like how are shorts a health or safety risk? The The bounces get they'd f*cking through me on the road. Doesn't matter you lost $60 because me and two other mates wanted to go in plus I told them to get f*cked and left so I'm okay. So all in all it's not as great as Canberra says it is.

I love academy club, I always have a great time but the way I got treated Saturday night by 2 of the staff members was horrible. I got yelled and accused of "running past the girls" and "not showing my stamp" when that wasn't what had happened at all. I wasn't drinking all that much so it would be silly to say I couldn't remember what happened as I remember it clear as day, what had happened cause me to hyperventilate. I felt abused and overwhelmed. Pretty hesitant to go back especially because I paid money and this is how I got treated. At least all your staff aren't nasty!
