I am also excited about the knitting ministry and possibly choir. It was nice to be welcomed just shortly after entering the doors. We will surely be back.
jacob's porch (Lutheran Campus Ministry at OSU) needs to raise funds by June to purchase full-ownership of their property in order to continue their vital ministry to students at OSU. Lord of Life is a Jacob's Porch partner congregation which provides ongoing mission support, and several of our members are alumni of this ministry. Please view the linked video/letter and consider if you can help!
"People across the church look to Jacob's Porch as a pioneer in ministry to millennials and have learned from our example. It is without question: Jacob's Porch is at the forefront in generating leaders faithful to the grace-message of Jesus."
A quiet reflection on God's ultimate gift of love. This service begins and ends in total silence. Though our hearts our heavy, we leave knowing the story of Jesus' life is not over...
Washing of Hands...It was the custom at the beginning of the Passover meal to ritually wash. Jesus washed his disciples’ feet on this night. That custom is symbolically incorporated into our worship tonight with a rite of hand washing.

Lenten worship for Young Families was started as a multi-generational faith gathering. Join us every Wednesday in Lent as we explore prayer in a fun kid-friendly format
We’re so honored to spend this time with your family in worship as followers of Jesus have done for at least 16 centuries! Allowing time to worship, grow, pray and play together is a Lenten practice in and of itself. This time together strengthens our relationship with God and with one another. We pray that this style of worship will nurture your faith and initiate a family dialog about the power of prayer.
Each Wednesday in Lent we will be learning about a different type of prayer. After a brief devotion, we will put our prayers into action and create a prayer calendar for the week ahead. At the end of Lent, you will have a full month of prayer starters! We pray, that this Lenten focus will nurture your personal relationship with God as well as energize your family prayer practices and conversations.
