We’d like to say a huge thank you to the players of People's Postcode Lottery for helping us tackle barriers to girls’ education in Kenya. In Kilifi county, we’ve been able to build a centre for young mothers forced to drop out of school, where they can receive counselling and take vocational courses in everything from tailoring to IT. Learning new skills gives girls the opportunity to earn an income, and hope for the future.

On 6 February 1918, some women in the UK gained the right to vote for the first time. It was a crucial step forward for women’s rights. But 100 years on, we still have a long way to go globally to ensure that women’s voices are heard equally loudly, not just at the ballot box, but at all levels of government too. Women across the world are rising to the challenge, despite the barriers thrown up in their way. #StillMarching http://bit.ly/2saYlz0
