Saam Sing Gerk with Seong Chi Sao is the transition from simple Saam Sing Gerk to Chi Gerk.

Here's a quote from my all-time favorite singer/songwriter Jack Johnson. "Shortcuts can slow you down". Because as he continues, "in the end we are bound". I know we all want freedom. But there are no shortcuts. Not really. We must be willing to put in the REAL work just as those before us have. We must trust in the path. Humble hard work pays off in more ways than one.

It's our fear that makes us stiff, stubborn and creates our struggle. It's this same fear which makes us greedy, skeptical or hesitant. Yet there is no path to fluidity without acceptance of this and a sincere appreciation of honesty. Honesty isn't the way we want it to be or the way we may even perceive it. Truth remains the same whether we choose to accept it or not. So why not accept truth as quickly as possible, honestly submit to it as quickly as possible and flow with it as quickly as possible?

Yet why do we continue to insist upon fighting fire with fire?

Where to Find Power: By using their energy against them, a smaller, weaker person can find devastating power.

Wing Chun's power lies in yielding to the opponent's force. It is the art of being like water. We don't fight force with force or rely on brute strength. Ins...
