One of my favorite things about the Lord is Him as our Master Gardener.
I have been praying the Lord would make me more like Him.
As He "weeds" through things in my life, I am reminded to let Him dig deep to get the junk in my heart out and not just to pull at things a little, lest it grow back and be all the more strengthened.
The truth is it's uncomfortable, it hurts, my heart motives are exposed, and many flaws I perhaps want to turn a blind eye to....
But one thing I am sure of, I don't want my flesh to resurface.
As hard as it is sometimes to let the Lord dig in my heart, the end result is freedom.
There is growth in the things that are good because the "weeds" are no longer taking the nutrients from the soil of my heart or any space in my mind.
Any bitterness, envy, contentions, pride, anything that falls short of the beautiful character of Jesus gets washed away by His purifying water.
I want ALL of what He has for me. I want the FULLNESS of what He offers...
"Lord, I trust You with my heart! Dig as deep as You need to!"
Hey guys, so it is December and that means Christmas songs playing ALL THE TIME I may be a little bias here but would love to have you check out this song m...y daughter Bella wrote last year. It is the essence of the innocence of a child and the simplicity of the lyrics that point to our Savior . I could not be more proud of my daughter and the love and hope she has in Jesus! I hope you enjoy it!
I LOVE this woman! Can't wait to meet her in heaven!
To every man there openeth
A way, and ways, and a way.
The high soul climbs the high way,
And the low soul gropes the low.
And in between on the misty flats...
The rest drift to and fro.
But to every man there openeth
A high way and a low -
And every man decides the way his soul shall go.
- John Okenham
"Blessed is the man whose
Strength is in You;
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage."
Set your heart on the exalted way! ❤️
I'm blown away by the goodness of the Lord!
Over 1000 people came forward to receive Christ!!!!
They also gave people an opportunity to respond via text messages, so we'll know those numbers in a few days!
Thank you Jesus! His name was lifted HIGH tonight!
Thank you SO much for praying....
The team will be ministering in India for the rest of the week before returning home.
"In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Be my rock of refuge.
For You are my strength!
Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,...
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You,
In the presence of the sons of men!"
