Would love to see the Credit changed back to a Refund, to help the lower and middle class who don’t need as credit but a refund. My husband and I took legal guardianship over 2 of our grandkids 11 ye...ars ago, and adopted their 2 siblings (our grandchildren) that fell into foster care system at the time ages 5yrs and infant we didn’t want them to be separated and lost to our family. Their adoption finalized March 2015. My husband’s income of 34,000.00 for our new family of 6 is our only income... We are praying to still be around 15 years from now to see them through school and reach their goals so a Refund would be a Blessing! See More

This is an extremely needed Tax Credit that should NOT be repealed. The loving families have added children and need the extra cushion this Tax Credit provides. Please continue this effort.

There are parents who can't afford to keep their own children, who are forced to relinquish for financial reasons. It adds insult to injury that not only do strangers get to "parent" their kids, the g...overnment gives them money to do it, when the same funds are not available to keep the family together in the first place.

For kids with disabilities (not going to say "special needs" because ALL adoptees have some degree of special needs due to relinquishment/separation), money should be available to provide for their specific needs - physical or psychological. Money should not be available just to pay people to adopt. How do you know they aren't doing it just for the money?

This is amazing! I am so happy to see this tax credit preserved. It's a huge help for adoptive families!

As an Adoptee, this money could be better spent helping biological families stay together.

Adoption tax credit was meant to help children in long term foster care find homes. It failed miserably.
