They changed the system that was perfectly fine for absolutely no reason. They shut down accounts and the branch and we couldn’t deposit any money. My fiancé and I work in the hair industry where we paid cash and for 4 days we couldn’t deposit anything while automatic payments came out. We were penalized and fees were thrown on our account. Then online banking was a nightmare and I waited almost TWO HOURS just to get to a human who spent all of 30 seconds just to fix the problem and hang up. Banking shouldn’t be this inconvenient. They should have never changed the system. See More

The staff at Affinity has gone above and beyond in making our choice to transfer all our loans to them a success. They were extremely helpful in answering all the questions we had and their interest r...ates were half of what we paid at our other financial institution. Shame on you Affinity Credit Union!!!!! How dare you not allow automatic deposits to clear by midnight like in the past!!! Where is our money???? We will be pulling our accounts this weekend!!! I will be cancelling my membership with Affinity Credit Union on Monday. In the space of a week they shut down my card and online banking without even an email. They chose to shut down their system ri...ght around the first of the month when rent and bills are due and forced so much stress on my household.

After their update which shut their system down my card was no longer accepted at ATMs I have used before. I suggest more people cancel this terrible service before they are forced through a stress filled time needlessly caused by a company who obviously doesn't care about the people who work with them.

Another bad example of the consulting firm or project manager who managed this change. Several calls into the branch, that took several hours and two visits into the branch only to find out that we given a defective card. All this for a teenager with his first bank account trying to manage his money for the first time. I was not going to put you on blast when you did it to me while i was traveling out of state, but come on, not even an apology to my son.

Although I have been a long time customer of the bank for almost 15 years, we will both be finding a new credit union that will appreciate our business and take our concerns as a priority.

The tellers used to be so efficient and the line used to move very quickly, but when the new system was put in everything went downhill. Every time I stop in to make a deposit I have to wait 10 minute...s longer and I can’t do mobile deposits either for my checks. I wish the old system was back. See More

I just applied for an auto loan and within 5min had been approved with good interest. My loan officer was super sweet. Always a great experience!!!

I just wanted to reach out and say how wonderful my experience was with Affinity Credit Union. I have been banking with Wells Fargo for a very long time and when I needed help Wells Fargo wasn't ther...e. So after driving by Affinity everyday I decided to reach out. A wonderful lady named Tamara Wayman reached out and I tell you what, it was the best experience I have had with a bank rep. She does her job very well and goes above and beyond and she should be commended for that. She was there to help from day 1 until the end of the process. I can't say enough good things about her or the other crew there. I have been in twice and everyone is so willing to help and things run like a well oiled machine here. You have a customer for life. My card was put on a hold for no reason and I’ve been without funds for 5 days. 5 days! I’ve gotten a late fee penalty on a bill because these people can’t do their job correctly. They STILL won’t ans...wer the phone. And who closes for a nonholiday? for 2 days! And then opens for one day before closing for yet another. Done. I’m moving my funds to Veridian as soon as I can actually get a hold of a human at Affinity. See More

I worked really hard cleaning up my credit and 2 other places offered me 18% but affinity got me at 5%. I transferred 85,000 dollars in loans, saved 200 a month in payments 8 months worth of payment a...nd 20,000 in interest. See More

My first few months with Affinity after coming from another credit union for the last 5 years.. I have now found my new forever financial institution! I'm a member for life! The customer service I got... today over the phone and in person from Ashley and collett! Those ladies will never know what they did for me today I will remember them forever for the help they gave me and their kind words and reassurance that they will take care of the mess I created they helped me untangle a mess and were so motivated to do so!! The location on Hoffman is a family type feeling for me and I love it! See More

I've been banking with them for 3 years now and I love that I've been able to form a relationship with the tellers. A few nights ago, someone got ahold of my debit card information and decided to go o...n a shopping spree. The fraud department called me in less than an hour and shut down my card immediately. The people tried again to use my card the next morning and were unable. The dispute was easy, and I had my money back in just a few days. That's good service. See More

Received a car loan through this bank. Their website is hard to manage, and I had to call 3 times to get someone to help me with my payment, and the third woman was very rude. It may just be a bad impression, but I am going to refinance as soon as possible with another bank. Too bad-- would love to support a small Iowa business :( See More
