Please join us on Saturday, August 27th as we walk together to raise awareness to prevent child abuse and neglect. The walk is in memory of Giovanni Dimas Romero, a 3 month old baby from Cranston who died on July 9th of 2016 due to abusive head trauma, also known as “Shaken Baby Syndrome”. It is a severe form of child abuse caused by violently shaking an infant or child. This is an opportunity to unite as a community to bring awareness on child abuse. The walk will start at ...10:AM at the Elmwood Ave entrance of Roger Williams Park. Get there before 10:AM. It's free and you can bring as much people as you want. We're not raising any money, just awareness. If you don't have any dark blue colors that represent the bruces on kids, you can still join us. We hope to see you there. Thank you!
