5 years ago, we created a humble tribute to A R Rahman's classic, Aaromale for our Music Mojo sessions, predominantly based on raag bageshree . Enjoy the monsoon with this track! #agam #carnatic #progressive #arrahman #tribute #throwback #musicmojo #kappatv
We have no words to express our gratitude to the full house audience that came for our gig yesterday . We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have played 120 minutes of music to arguably one of the most knowledgable, evolved set of music lovers. Thanks for that 3 minute long standing ovation, we are humbled and touched by your support. #agam #carnatic #progressive

Tonight we played an incredible gig at the Garden City College, Bengaluru. We had a brilliant time. It's fascinating that , much like one of our recent gigs , a good part of this gig was disrupted due to rain, with the organising team having to do a lot to keep the stage performance ready. That's where the beauty of having a capable , and sensible organising committee comes to the fore. We were taken care of so well, with the team led by Mr. Shrikanth Iyer being available all... through to make things happen.
It was even more heartening to see the crowd that had gathered brave the rain and patiently waited for us to get back on stage at each stages of rain disruption. We are humbled by their love and affection. It is gestures like this that make us go forward. They cared a lot about our music and it's hard for us to express our gratitude to them in words.
We played our full set , an extended drums solo and more for this phenomenal audience. The key takeaway from today's gig was that if the organising team knows how to run an event of scale , rain disruptions are just a small inconvenience - We are extremely grateful to such incredible organising teams and technicians that make our journey super rewarding.
Of course, from our own experience , we know that there are going to be some organisers that are going to blame us for their monumental ineptitude like in recent times - it's now clear that they are in minority ( thankfully ) and our faith and gratitude to organisers and hosts has been restored and cemented by what we experienced today at the Kerala Samajam Bangalore chapter.
Onwards and upwards.
There are good gigs, there are bad gigs. There are ups and downs. There are fantastic days where everything is perfect and then there are genuine bad days when things just don't fall in place. All that said, we always believed in being sincere and honest and giving it our 110% every time we get an opportunity to play in front of an audience. We will continue to do that till our last breath. Our outing at MAF Kochi wasn't the best we have had, for sure. But, as musicians we l...oved playing to the many many amazing people that were present there - the people that matter a lot to us. Here is a small clip of us playing A R Rahman's legendary classic Uyire, unplugged. This isn't perfect, but this is our attempt at being truthful and honest to the art that we love, irrespective of the way the odds are stacked. Please do give it a listen, when you can, guys!

Today we stand humiliated , belittled, violated and shaken as we complete 7 years of our happy existence playing over a 1000 shows to 1000s of people across the globe. We have stood for good music, gone out of the way in our pursuit to make honest , sincere music and have always strived to create music that spread happiness. We have gotten infinite love from our well wishers through these yea...
