This was a super fun project to work on! I shot this mostly on the Panasonic GH5. Almost entirely handheld, from horseback on occasion. Mavic Pro for the aerials and A7s for low light. Very minimal and free to follow the action.

To everyone who has supported this documentary, we cannot thank you enough! Here is a first look at Cowboys Without Borders, and just a taste of what is to come.... A very special thanks to Alex Walker, our highly talented cinematographer who is capturing the spirit of the American West in every frame. A huge thanks to Bobby Villarreal, the creative composer to the original soundtrack, and to Walt Roberts for his classic version of Home on the Range! We couldn't have done this without the fine folks over at Austin Movie Gear either!
And thank you to Executive Producer Ilissa Nolan for the help in getting this project off the ground and shaping the vision!
This is a team effort and we are seeing this through to completion.

I can not possibly express how much I hate NoFilmSchool. They are shameless thieves. There is no worse website on the internet. They've got an article up with "...free" links to dozens of books that are NOT free, including mine and Alexis Van Hurkman's. Why don't they just publish our credit card numbers? If you care about the authors and content creators that you enjoy, please join me in re-posting this and boycotting NoFilmSchool until they start creating their own actual content and stop publishing illegal links to increase their own dubious site traffic. NoFilmSchool regularly rip-off content creators by barely altering content and are happy to hide behind their mistaken belief that they are "helping" us with "exposure." I think all real content creators realize that "exposure" is another word for "theft."
