5starDear Human Rights Committee:Civil and Political Rights
The property of our mothers, sisters and men aren’t parts from f...actories. There aren’t parts that are for other people to use as a source of income. This is similar to robbing someone. Sisters and mothers should be free to do whatever they want to do. The governmentshouldn’t ask people their license or a statement about the job, they should be free to do whatever they want. Some men who have the same problem should also be paid because they have been abused. We wait to see your actions and how they’ll help the community.
If you want to comment to them, send your comments to the “Women's rights” page. This is important to us all because the UN Human Rights committee must act now to prevent women from being physicallytortured. They have to act on behalf of all women to change the way women are treated and provide compensati on for women who have been abused by the government . Women must be free to express and not be forced into prostituti on. Government and politician s use women like business, by taking away their human rights and using their bodies. They are taking advantage of unemployme nt, whenever they want. They don’t respect their property, and their aren’t given any jobs and rights away from their properties .
Rape is illegal but women are being raped in many countries, sometimes in front of their own families. The rapists deliberate ly don’t wear condoms infecting women with St Is. This is about power and violence. Girls and women are blamed by the society. They are slaves. Please support this cause for your sister, daughter and granddaugh ter. Sharon Collins
Sharon Collins Thank you. As a woman, who has also lived in many communities, here and overseas, including Nigeria, I have seen some men treat women like nothing but slaves. It would be easy to say that only happened in third-worl d countries, but that would not be the truth. Here in Australia domestic violence is an horrendous problem, and one for which we all need to take responsibi lity.
Violence against another is an abomination. It is condemned in most religious texts. But sadly we live in a world where standards of behavior are deteriorat ing and our government looks after nothing but the interests of the wealthy and themselves . Corporatio ns are considered to have 'human rights' while millions, maybe even billions of women have none.
How sad we have become. I hope and pray that good men like you and my lovely husband will lead the way to a better life for oppressed and abused women. Thank you.h/ See More
